He had probably tipped off institutional investors that gas and coal prices would continue to remain very high for the next 5 years, which prompted them to sell Tenaga shares. But wait, why would institutional investors trust someone who doesn't understand how ICPT works and someone who said RM7.89=RM4.50?

With ICPT in place, Tenaga shouldn't be making losses. The snag is the government is a bit financially strapped and Tenaga might not get its compensation promptly.

@lohkokwai w, besides the Russian Ruble, I can't think of any currency that is gaining ground against the mighty US$ over the past 6+ months. Among our neighbours, Ringgit is down against Sing $ and Indonesian Rupiah but up against Thai Baht and Filipino Peso. Yen and Euro are faring much worse.

Some jokers probably do not know who Warren Buffet is, let alone heard his dictum that "when people are greedy, I am scared, when people are scared, I am greedy". Don't buy a stock after it has doubled or tripled in price. MRCB is trading near its all time low. There is no much room for it to drop further but plenty of room for it to go up.

I will be buying Maybank happily once every six months for the next three rears until its earnings per share exceeds RM1 and its share price reaches RM13 a share.

Construction companies are unaffected by yesterday's announcement. The 15 GE is coming, government can't win the election if it defers/cancels projects.
