at this critical juncture, Malaysia is saved by a wise King, who can think of a way out of this political impasse.
think the King wants to interview each one of the MPs , to ask who they support as PM, cut across party lines.
The PM can then appoint his Cabinet.

I think is possible there could be another person becoming PM. Nobody knows how these MPs are going to vote if interviewed one by one. It could be Zahid.

Bersatu could end up being backstabbed by UMNO, this I think is what Rais was worried about, giving another name than what was agreed upon

Given current scenario, i think is still the best Dr M stays, dont forget the 2 term limit PM not set yet. If anyone to get this job done, i think only he can do it.
