mamatede, Alipay is taking quite a chunk of market in China (even more than the common credit cards we know!), in fact based on what I've read so far, amongst the reasons why they in China prefer Alipay is because of the protection it offers. There's a lack of consumer protection law there. The Wechat pay is a close competitor.
The world's largest population is in China, with over 1.4 billion people. So it's only normal if more and more parts of the world are trying to grab this potential buyers/tourists. Malaysian population is about 41 million. Even if we intend to tap let's say 1% of the population total, that would be 14 million. About 1/3 of our population already. If more and more of our merchants accepts Alipay, we can probably be exposed to more than just 1% of 1.4 billion.
I'm not suggesting anything. We should all study and then decide.
GHL at first thought to be the Mpay for the e-commerce platforms but CIMB & Maybank too are handling the same platforms so they're not monopoly sole provider.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
