That's right trustme932 !If it is so simple, then everyone can just follow the directors' movements, If they buy, you follow and if they sell you also follow. No need to use FA, TA and other analysis. No need to listen to tips or news or rumors. Everyday just look into the companies' announcements on directors' buying / selling !

ktsk88, if you don't mind may I ask you why are you still keeping Instaco since a Director sold 1 million shares just recently. But the price has gone up. No offence meant. It only shows that it is not an issue at all.

I am not Warren Buffet, else i won't be here advising when i should be making headlines in Malaysia acquiring companies and making big bucks.

No doubts all the listed companies here made announcement daily on shares buyback or sell down their stakes by Director's. We need to see and analyse the reason. Not means Instaco director selling, we should sell too. It depends on how much he is holding. Of course after listing (eg Instaco) the Director can dispose certain % of shares since he has locked in period. So i am not concerned since he still holding 70 millions shares comparing Digista Dato Wira Lee whom disposed all his warrant A. If he think the company is doing fine then he should hold and convert his warrant A since the mother will raise later. If i am not mistaken the conversion is just 13 sen. But he choose to disposed all 683k warrants show he know something not favorable, maybe the next quarter is lower therefore the mother is down. Hence, dispose earlier to capitalize on this.

Same like Oldtown, i have been noticing the Director buying when share price is down and later it sprung up. Hence, i follow him too.

I dont know how to said, it depends on counters. All are inter related and depend on your wisdom.

ktsk88, now you are commenting with logic in that we need to study and and analyse the reasons for the disposal by Directors. But then gain it doesn't mean that he knows something is not favorable. Probably he needs some cash. If something bad is coming up, all the other directors should also be disposing.

Invest88, now the exec director is resigning. So that is consider bad or good?

They exiting the companies, no wonder the Dato Wira also disposing.

Sometimes we need to be rational and come to senses, when something happens try remedy as early as possible rather holding on.

I am emotional last time, but now i try not to be engrossed, emotional and attached to shares. My aim is profit and enhance my wealth the fastest ways cos we do not have many 3 or 5 or 10 years in our lives.

Jennylee132, I think I have mentioned before that I am no expert in giving target price. That you can seek advice from trustme932 or City Trader or matrixcool. I have cleared my shares at 32 - 32.5 sen and will be looking into buying back if it stays at around 28 sen in the next few days. However I am still holding some WA at 18 sen (sold some at 22 sen).

ktsk88, directors come and go and I reckon is also a common phenomenon. No one is indispensable. Nevertheless I do agree that we should use our common sense when investing.

thanks inwest88, yes common sense prevails and also dont emotional attached to shares. The more you fall in love, the more the pain especially if you hoping for miracles. Life go on...............you can recover from other shares.............keep this in mind.

In stock trading, there are always gains and losses. I have also incurred losses in so many counters over the years. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but the most important is at the end of the day you are in the plus territory. Like playing Black Jack - you cannot expect the Banker to pay you every time but once the game is over and you made money, it's good enough. And do you notice that most if not all people talk about their gains but not their losses. This is human nature.

But for the past 2-3 years, i in the plus territory after paying many many tuition fees....................hahaha at least me wiser and no more emotional attached......no matter how good the counters. It can go higher but eventually will come back down. That;s where we enter and made another round.

I am sitting on big profits on Hap Seng, Genting, Panamy and HaiO, but loose out abit on Rubberex.

Not to mentioned also profit on Instaco and Gpacket.

Hi ktsk88,
TQ for your analysis on Digista & I may consider to cut lost once support is violated. What is the reasonable price to enter Sona. Is that a new listing?

ktsk88

5,284 posts

Posted by ktsk88 > 2013-10-02 12:55 | Report Abuse

Citytrader, SONA is new listing and dont have any particular business yet. It have a 3 years period to acquire a business model or else after end of the 3rd years all the funds need to be returned to investor with interest. So is quite a safe investment.

At this juncture, it have raising from listing price of 0.39 sens until 0.45 sen.

It just anoounced some stake acquisition in oil & gas exploration company listed in Singapore Stock Exchange - RH Petrogas Ltd. This listed company have exploration and oil field producing crude oil in China, Myanmar, Indonesian and partnership sharing of contract in Malaysia oil companies.

RH Petrogas today halted trading pending material announcement to the SES and it could be this stake sale.

So if true, then SONA will be able to have regular income from this venture apart from still searching and negotiating some contracts with oil and gas companies and exploration companies around the world.

So i have confident it will more than doubling current value when streaming income from tie-up etc.

Remember this SONA is way bigger than similiar companies like Cliq and Hisbiscus listed in Bursa. Looks at these 2 counters as guideline for the share pricing.

So it is the cheapest and up to you to go in now or later, but judging from the price since listing it is safe and stable.

Choice is yours.

CT, Hibiscus which you and I have just entered are in the same business as SONA which are listed under SPAC. And ktsk88 is right. SONA is much much bigger than Hibiscus and Cliq in terms of size and potential business. To me, the mother share is a safer bet but the warrant is more speculative and would provide higher returns relatively.

Bro trustme932 I've already disposed DIGISTA 50,000 units @0.29 on 1/10, my average purchased price is 0.32. I noticed that lately it shows sign of unusual trading activities n also as a result of the current global uncertainties that could upset the TA chart analysis.

However I was lucky to make some profit fr JAKS which I hv bought 50,000 units @0.515 & sold @ 0.55 to recover my losses for DIGISTA....& also some profit for whiskey malt beer. At thd end of the day, I still managed to make some profit n shall forget about DIGISTA which is not my cup of tea & to move on to other prospective counters for future rewards.

Stock trading is a high risk investment n u must be equipped with self discipline, good knowledge & when the lucky star always shine on yr way, u will always emerged as the ultimate winner.

Bro trustme932 ...cheers & good luck on yr investment. TQ

I m still holding at 0.325 after its fake break-out which is normal in share market. So based on current price 0.27, it is -38% Fibo measuring from previous high 0.32 but not 0.355 which is a fake breakout only & i view it quite healthy to hold. It came down to 0.195 from the previous downtrend & started to upside to the High 0.32 since then. It has attempted 5 times to break 0.32.

Citytrader...my 1st tp at 0.36 is derived from the corrective wave A(32-19.5).By rite i shud have disposed everything at 0.34 when it came down from 0.355 n even broke 0.335,i knew there was something wrong n was hoping for it to hold up abv 0.32..somehow it turned messy. My cost is 0.285 n i still have 40 pct in hand.
