Mukhriz Mahathir and wife are selling. Calvin say is good sign cos they want press down the price to accumulate.
Early of the year when the boss buying he also say good sign.
Sell or buy also good. Everything is good for Calvin. The price drop from 0.60 to below 0.40 now. Lama2 when the price drop below 0.20 he will quiet off like in Perisai.

Anyway on a more serious note, my 2 cents is I have not much concern to hold on to this stock as the NFP for Malaysia is kicking off and other companies like Binacom is launching alot of new projects which will require OPCOM products. Previous annual reports and cash flow looks promising. Not to mention malaysian government is pushing operators to look into 5g services which i'm assuming will require loads of fibre optic cables for data transfer.

Kind of surprised with the movement today, somebody could have internal news floating around or maybe OPCOM managed to secure a big contract that has not been announced. Either way, i'll keep watch closely over the next week on any hints from other telecommunication/network infrastructure companies on their directions which could require our products.

I would top up when price low and hold to at least until 2nd quarter after the financial year end before deciding on my next step. Expecting a drop in price before CNY and shoot up after!

politically sensitive company....the risk of this company not getting contracts is high. even private companies probably would not touch/partner it if they are also dealing with the GLCs. my 2 sens.

I have been following both TM & TNB

TM bought fiber from Opcom for HSBB as a Retail Business whereas TNB bought it for its own use through the TNB Electrical Gird. TNB need fiber for its own data collection & communication as fiber is a very safe non conductor of electricity

The upcoming O&G Refinery in Pengerang also need lots of Fiber for data and communication as Fiber in a non conductor unlike copper which will be a danger if lightning strikes.

For Binasat or any Data Center more Fiber will be in hot demand

The Rm1 Billions HSBB for East Malaysia will also increase demand for Opcom Fibers
