Only no brainier will compare Vitrox with VS industry. They are totally different sector and future prospect. Vitrox is ATE and they are growing beyond that. VSI is EMS and their business profit margin is low. They are so much different in many aspects which I can’t list it out all. Please go back and do your homework before you compare Vitrox with VSI. Vitrox future prospect and growth are much much stronger than VSI.

ViTrox Corp Bhd similarly vacillated between gains and losses before closing 10 sen or 0.51% lower at RM19.32 for a market capitalisation of RM9.12 billion. The stock touched a record high of RM19.42 last Friday (July 23).

"Technology stocks rallied as investors anticipate strong quarterly results, especially from MPI and KESM, after its semiconductor peer ViTrox posted strong results in its latest second financial quarter last week," said Malacca Securities head of research Loui Low when contacted.

ViTrox's net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021 more than doubled to a record RM50.64 million, from RM22.92 million a year earlier, on the back of the semiconductor boom which saw heightened demand for its solutions. The commendable results came as ViTrox's quarterly revenue more than doubled to RM196.19 million, from RM96.55 million the year before.

Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is trending higher while the
Relative Strength Index (RSI) is still rising despite being in a moderate
overbought condition. There is no significant reversal sign yet.

We continue to like the stock and recommend traders to go long now. A stoploss
can be set at RM17.50. Towards the upside, we are eyeing the near-term
resistance level at RM21.00, followed by RM22.00.

Whether China’s spending is effective remains controversial. Chinese chip companies remain well behind leading Western competitors. Mr. Kennedy of the Center for Strategic and International Studies estimated China has injected between $49 billion and $72 billion into state-owned aircraft maker Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) in a so-far-unsuccessful effort to make it a competitor to Airbus and Boeing.

Even if other countries spent as much as China, they would likely struggle to achieve truly independent supply chains because China dominates so many of the links. When semiconductor chips are fabricated in the U.S. they still must undergo assembly, packaging and testing, a low-margin business where China is the biggest player.
