根据沙巴州环保局於本月3日刊登在本地英文报的广告以及上载该局官网的《斗湖巴隆伍德斯多夫山（Mt.Wulldersdorf,Balung）金矿特別环境衝击评估报告的职权范畴草稿》，金矿开采项目的擬议公司是南海金私人公司（Southsea Gold Sdn Bhd），负责人是拿督罗惠明。据探悉，罗惠明也是上市公司婆罗洲海產养殖公司（Borneo Aqua Harvest Berhad）的首席执行员。
沙巴行动党副主席陈泓縑今天促请公眾，在本月25日之前参与审阅这份草稿，以确保金矿即將开采作业的同时，避免环境公害的肆虐。
他指出，发现金矿的地点距离斗湖市区以西北30公里。初步研究显示，该座矿场可开採35年。矿石的金属成份，估计是3千零11万8千713克金、1千891万6千零27克银以及数以百万吨矿石。上述公司预料投资至少7千220万令吉於机械和器材，35年的开采费用需要额外投入1亿220万令吉。

This stock had been on sideways consolidation since Sept 2014. It started to outperform the KLCI Index since 26/10/2015. It tried three times to breakout of the immediate resistance of RM 1.00...but did not succeed. Recent correction is almost over. Looks like it is starting to attempt to breakout for the 4th time. Based on chart patterns, it will most likely succeed on its next attempt..

BAHVEST broke immediate resistance @RM1.00 today. If it managed to stay above RM 1.00 for next 2-3 days, it will trend towards higher price.

Given that the share price went up before suspension, my guess is something good is happening.

Yes, possible JV or M&A or, I am guessing, positive results from their operations.

I can only make a guess, on the 2 things that BAHVEST is doing:

1) Maybe have good news on rearing fish till big resulting in significant increase of revenue/profit. All these while telling us profit/revenue poor as change in policy to rear fish till bigger.

or, which is a better reason for suspension,

2) They were venturing into gold mining....maybe a BIG gold deposit find.

Anyway, have to sit tight till the announcement.

@Erik don't worry bah, it will resume trading at next week. The company request for suspension but not kena bursa UMA. dont worry. they just same something pending about "material announcement". don't what announcement, maybe "goldmine". don't worry this counter will fly. I got internal news.

BAHVEST easily broke out of down trend resistance of 1.03 and closed at 1.19 prior to suspension. It effectively ended its sideways consolidation today. WILL GO MUCH HIGHER..

Someone forwarded me the "leaked" 3rd party expert report. It's confirmed that the minerals in Bukit Mantri areas comprised of Gold, Silver and Copper!! The gold and silver minerals resource have more than 250,000 Ounces (au) and 700,000 au respectively.

However, i'm not sure the volume is consider a lot or less as I'm not the expert for this industry.
