collected at RM1.41. was stagnant for months but owner kept buying. then it surged. now I see it is similar situation. have no doubt will limit up again as he has been buying:)

Good to see this stock still can sustain after i collected at 0.77/share when BN lost election and sold @ 2.03 per share recently, though not the highest price i can sell but it's a satisfactory results. The business is good, but the price now doesn't justify it. Government stock or not, I buy only when the price present a very deep discount to my intrinsic value, which happened in mid 2018.

It's funny when i am buying @ 77 cents, everyone in this forum is all doom and gloom, and the argument of avoiding this BN stock comes from everyone. Who knows it went all the way from 77 cents to 2 ringgit..

I can see some old names here who didn't act in 2018 and sounds regretful.

Myeg last time purchase the equipment for handing gst, but then pakatan can the gst so the machine value wipe off, that quarter is the only quarter myeg loss money.... Now if gst come back, myeg will add back that fund as profit, and perform gst handling is another source of income to the company...if he believe gst coming back then just hold... Government no money already u think what they going to do... Hehehe

there is good and bad when the epf and other big fund have substantial stake.. when the price is up, epf tend to take profit and pressing the price from going higher.

Myeg sure up kaw kaw..... If the government tend to implement GST during this year end budget.... Then sure myeg get it... Because they already have this system....I dont think the government will appoint other company because it is just few months ahead... They sure will give myeg instead of calling other company to build up this system....

Whilst it's nice to hear an informed insider adding more of his skin to the company, it does not necessarily imply that the company is worth more than the price he paid it for.

Remember Top Glove when on hindsight, it appeared that the insiders bought a chunk of shares at pretty exorbitant prices. They could also be carried away by optimism & hype.

It's because their share base is high at 3.6 billion.

1% of that is already 36 million shares/RM72 million in value.

It's difficult to push unless there's catalyst eg:rumours/news that excite the market to buy more.

GST is coming...


PETALING JAYA: The government is looking at a variety of measures to expand its revenue base, and has not ruled out a return of the goods and services tax (GST) as part of the measures.

Speaking during a panel discussion organised by the World Bank Group, finance ministry deputy secretary-general (Policy) Zakiah Jaafar said the government was examining tax reforms when the pandemic took hold last March.

“If you are asking if we’re going to reinstate the GST, that’s part of a bigger exercise we’re undertaking; to study how best to widen our revenue base,” she said.
