nubhan, when companies transfer to the main board they can easily get financing or funds to expand. In the main board it will command a better pricing too.

Not only financing. But transferred to main board will attract mutual fund and pension fund to come in. See OLD TOWN, the mutual fund (local and oversea) and pension fund come in already push the price to more than 50%.

Big mutual fund and all pension fund are not allowed to invest in counter in ACE market. So this is the big difference.

亞洲媒體獲批轉主板

　（吉隆坡5日訊）亞洲媒體（AMEDIA，0159，創業板貿易股）轉板建議獲馬證交所首肯，計劃完成后將從創業板轉移至主要板貿易服務。

　該公司在報備文告中指出，已于今日接獲馬證交所來函通知批准轉板，不過需在2個交易日內發佈轉板上市招股書文件、刊登廣告通知轉板，並透過馬證交所報備正式轉板日。

　亞洲媒體為國內最大流動電視供應商，去年8月宣佈有意從創業板轉至主要板交易，提升股項價值。

　當時該公司總執行長兼創辦人拿督黃世凱認為，此舉有助提高投資者購興和關注。　

　當時報導指出，轉板計劃的確為公司帶來利益，但必須補充的是，公司本身也在穩定成長。

Yes, the transfer to main board is only meaningful if earning continue. Luckily got some today. Based on my analysis,current PE for AMEDIA is 3.x The average PE in main board is 12. If we very conservative take 30% discount, amedia has potential to rise triple in a good economic environment. Good prospect for long term.
