talk2pkc , good 'luck' 2 u... cimb is the most overvalue bank stock in term of valuation.

best bet for bank stock is pbbank, slighty risky but higher reward bank stock is affin and ambank :D

overall, bank sector is really overvalue already.

just my 2 cents la..

Is CIMB's weakness an election thing? Concern over leadership? Cause share price is down and left right only.. Rarely up.. Fundamentals are still holding. Still expanding even though profitability seemed to be supported by acquisition rather than organic growth.

Share....the case is they need the affiliated blu chip to push taking turns. This one has gone up and taking a breather.....you will see another great round or few great round depending when it's callled

Also I think good time to load up on the share. The Dividend Reinvestment Plan seems to allow reinvestment of $ dividends for RM1.00 Par value shares. If its RM1 dividend per RM1 in share seem like a good deal. Banking shares always steady dividend and CIMB seem to have good long term potential.
