Oh susah as very big loan in O&G get stuck in our Malaysian shores. Defaulted loans and banks in EURO can bring the banks to HOLLAND.

I'm accumulating CIMB below $7. I agree with mr_investmentbanker that it is fundamentally strong. Furthermore it should be GE theme play and also if FELDA to be listed, guess who will be the underwriter? FELDA IPO will be huge and I believe CIMB will be one to benefit.

Many share has return back to original price after Europe crisis on 2011. Only CIMB is not able to bound to rm8 level after half year

What could be the reason that strong fundamental counter can go on dropping despite making profits from Thailand, Indonesia. - Lots of Non Performing Loans to Corporate Guys? Am greatly disappointed as it is recommended by Funds around RM8!!

i'm holding 10lot at 6.90. If it go further down, I will just buy more. Not sure why it is going down but i do see epf have alot of selling transaction in this few months and now they are buying back. Not sure is this contribute to the selldown but if i goes down further, i will b glad to buy more.

Trying to create a new topic but error appear. Anyone kind to comment on AIRB. I look into this counter and interested in this counter. Cash rich, low debt. The revenue and profit grow year on year. Pay decent dividend. The setback is it is a thinly traded counter with low volume but recently Tabung Haji bought a substantial amount of shares. Thanks

I have a strong feeling that today will likely end as a doji, will then have to look what's going to happen next week. Most likey repeating the same cycle, unless we see high volume surge on buy.

All the money now is going to spec counters it seems, if they fail I'm sure they'll return to financial sector, if they win I'm sure it'll goes in too. Problem is PBBANK seems to have the upperhand now.

Any thoughts?

Maybank still maintain its Sell call for CIMB, despite the good profits generated from CIMB Niaga.

Good time to collect CIMB at cheaper price for next uptrend cycle.

Ladies and Gentlemen, remember what the CIMB CEO said during the recent final Quarterly annoucement. He said they are very happy with the financial performance but very disappointed with its share performance. To me this is a hint to us that it is time to move. After that press release, CIMB started to move to reach above RM7.40. I expect next week will be another run to close to RM7.50. After RM7.50, it will continue its rise to near RM8.00. Titus, you will be getting your RM1,000 for the dividend soon for your 10,000 shares. I agree that GE is around the corner and very good chance this counter will rise much further - hint on CEO's disappointment on its share performance. So please don't blame anyone if you did not catch what Nasir said.

Hi Jackie, I'm looking forward to for CIMB div. Hope it will surge to RM8 soon. I will unload 1/2 & keep 1/2 for further upside. I think CIMB should really moving in this 2 month.
My AIRB is abit disappoiment. Did not declare any div. Therefore it is pretty stagnant. Wait for next Q results & with the ISkandar development, AIRB should b good to hold long term. :D

BANGKOK: CIMB Thai Bank Plc has posted a 22.2% year-on-year growth in net profit to 344.1 million baht (RM34.2mil) for its first quarter ended March 31, 2012 due mainly to higher net interest as well as net fee and service income.
