Public bank is expensive if above RM21 ( Rm4.20 after bonus issue ) n it is irrational for any local investment banks n research houses to give target price of more than RM4.20-4.25 for public bank ... Those retail investors who think PBB easily can go up to 4.40-4.50 n above don’t understand what mean too rich valuation with so so top management performance in last 4-5 years.... Be cautious mode n it looks like more than 60% -70% of retailers understand bonus issue doesn’t affect much the fundamental of one listed company ...:)

assume no bonus issue, the fair price is RM19, 19 / 5 = 3.8. so now is overpriced, i won't buy at this price

At 4.35 per share ex bonus, its share value is something like (4.35 ×5) or 21.75 before bonus. Is it really cheap? Present share price 4.35, u could buy 200 shares before bonus issue which is just a stock split or same cake cut into 5 pieces.

@stingray_ea Correct! This price will attract a lot of investors, many are on standby mode now LOL. When the economy is good it will rocket shoot! Don't bother about the temporary drop. If you have the money keep buying.

We must have people selling for us to buy cheap. That's how the market exists.

For any experienced retail investors or fund managers , any difference of 10 cents or 3-5% of share price mean a lot ... Even u r medium to long term investor, shouldn’t be desperate to collecting PBB at above $21 or 4.1-4.20.... Check back the PBT n profit after tax of last 4-5 years, very slow growth rate indeed ...

For those who thinks in 10 years or 40 years will hit rm10, please think again:
1. Management will be different. PBB as it is now is becoz of 1 person. Will that person still be around?
2. PBB growth is double digit previously. Now slow to single digit. Market so saturated with so many Banks, still can hit back double digit?
3. Future is digital bank. Among all the Banks, PBB IT is lacking behind.
Guys, dont just think last time can increase 400% now can do the same. Think about the catalyst for the increase and weigh your options and do ur analysis on the company's future before putting so much faith.

None of the KLCI heavyweight can reach market cap of RM200 billion in 4 years.... Malaysia economy is going down slope n banking industry can’t go back to glory time of 90s n early 2000s... Don’t be cheated by the booming of Dow Jones n SP 500 heavyweight blue chips like Amazon , Apple , Microsoft, Google , Telsa , Facebook n so on ... In other words, Public bank can’t even reach Rm 6 in 4-5 years times ... why talking about something far beyond that...

Only one WB in world. Now there are more than 100 new WBs who crash PBB forum declaring PBB will plunge to its death after BI. Wonder what is their MOTIVE in spewing all this. When you invest, you speak to accountants, finance analysts, dealers, traders, seasoned share investor friends besides reading and studying before you decide to invest. You don't make decisions based on reading short posts in stk portal.

DO NOT SELL YOUR PBB SHARES AFTER RECEIVING BONUS SHARES ON FRIDAY.
Those creating negatives news of dumping-selling by retailers after receiving bonus shares is to
Push the price down,
They encourage you to put the money into other shares so that you help push their share prices up,
After you sell at lower prices, they, others, & big investors take advantage of the lower prices to pick up your shares & later push it up again.
Keep for 6+ mths and you will see a much higher price of PBB shares.
PBB dividend news in late Feb.
Vaccine is going to arrive soon.
Remember, if they keep pushing the price down, some would sell out of fear & most would not buy.
Remember, if they keep pushing the price up, many would want to invest.
This is plain psychology.
There is definitely going to be an improvement in stk mkt. You will gain more when you keep PBB.
