ASB saw big volume executed at the opening bell today and managed to close at 15 sen. Looking at previous months trades these activities confirmed smart money accumulating the stock usually for one day only. However this time the price action is more convincing with an uptick of 2 points (1 sen). Last two high volumes in Dec 19 2013 and Jan 07 2014 come to no winner and no loser in sight. Closing Price remain unchanged. However it would be interesting if tomorrow ASB can demostrate the same price action with volume of more than 8 mio shares transacted. ASB is very undervalued and I hope someone like Mr. Koon will take notice of this gem too besides JT.

Advisable to mortgage your home and sell everything you have and put on this counter. It'll move up in the next 20 years. Haha

ASB is trading at its resistance of 0.15. It is important to monitor the price volume action near this 0.15 level to determine whether a breakout will take place.

As expected this counter went into the slumber mode again with volume shrink to their usual selves. More evidence that smart money were accumating this counter quietly from time to time. Good news is that price manage to maintain at the 15 sen level.

so tempting......

So, ASB will be cash rich after the disposal of the indirect interest in France...... likewise, time for them to revalue their freehold land??

1) Presently the top 30 shareholders only hold 37.79% of the issued shares.

2) Presently there is no shareholder having absolute ownership/control over ASB (> than 50%).

3) NTA @ 0.82 (B4 revaluation of properties) + last quoted price @ RM 0.145 therefore ASB looks dirt cheap.

4) ASB is likely to attract acquisitions/reverse takeovers bids from cash rich investors soon or later or it may had already taken place through sporadic high volumes purchasers @ RM 0.15 lately.

Imagine one day someone acquiring 256,857,916 shares from the open market @ RM 0.145 = RM 37,244,398 thus immediately exercising absolute ownership/control over ASB. Is it possible?

Hi trader8899 think you're on the money. If it can break 0.155 this week it has a strong chance of moving up.

Lot of shareholders are disappointed and frustrated with the company, which unable to enhance shareholder value for the pass 15 years and the company unable to restructure itself, Since they are not capable of running the company they shall sell out via reverse takeover. .

Investors holding on to this sloth of a stock will not lose a lot of money $$$ .......... but they will lose out on the opportunity costs of not purchasing into stocks of which price had risen significantly like Picorp from RM0.14 to RM0.28 and SMI RM0.16 to RM0.22.

Lets us all hope for a hostile takeover from an international hotel chain conglomerate or some reputable private company seeking a backdoor listing.

In order to control ASB's 51% stake is not that difficult as ASB's shares are not that tightly held by the present majority shareholders.

After injecting funds of maybe RM 100 million to purchase ASB's 51% stake, the acquirers will eventually gain access to ASB's RM 118 million cash at bank, hotel chain franchise, lands, properties and other assets.

Dear Friends at ADVANCE SYNERGY BERHAD,

ASB was a high flyer before the Asian Financial Crisis. In 1997 ASB was traded at a high of RM4.70. At 15 Cts now ASB has fallen 97% from its peak.

I had bought & sold ASB between RM1.50 to RM2.50 in those GoGo Years. For the whole year ASB has been trading at a range bound of 13 cts to 17 cts. Very dull?

I think not for long you will see some activity here when RHB Research, Public Bank Research, Nanyang Siang Pau & others finally take notice of its immense hidden VALUE.

GOOD NEWS!!

ACCORDING TO LATEST COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT ASB HAS JUST SOLD A HOTEL IN FRANCE FOR RM46.8 MILLIONS. THE PURCHASE PRICE OF HOTEL CUM RESTAURANT WAS ABOUT RM15 MILLIONS IN YEAR 2009.

So There is a HUGE PROFIT OF ABOUT RM30 MILLIONS FOR ASB - EQUIVALENT TO 6 CTS A SHARE. A WHOPPING 40% GAIN!!

Current Price is 15 CTS. Adjusted price should be 15+6 = 21 Cts. If Value Is Reflected By The Investing Public. And the hotel is only the Tip of the Ice Berg. ASB has an NTA of over 80 Cts. All The Other ASB Assets Are Also Highly Valuable. If Sold or Revalued Price Should Cross RM1.50 at the very least.

SO ASB IS ACTUALLY SELLING AT A HUGE DISCOUNT TO NET NET ASSET BACKING.

I have Set A One Year Target Price For ASB at 30 Cts. At 15 Cts Now That Means That It Will Be a 100% Upside.

Regards,

For illustrative purposes only, based on the latest available audited financial statements
of the ASP, HVLP and LDM as at 31 December 2013, and assuming that the Proposed
Disposal had been completed as at that date, the Proposed Disposal will result in an
estimated net gain on disposal of approximately RM9.9 million as follows:

There are 4 classes of people

1) The Poor.

Those who live from Day To Day. The beggar on the roadside. The daily wage worker and also day trader & gambler. Tomorrow is uncertain. Survival is a daily affair.

2) The Not So Poor

These Are People Who Live From Month To Month.

Worry about the house rent, car loan or the next house installment. Little savings. Whatever little must make fast money. Buy lottery, 4D or punt in KLSE for quick profits. Full of worry & stress every day.

3) The Wealthy

The Ones Who Count Their Net Worth From Year To Year. Day to Day, Week To Week or Good Months sprinkled with some bad months don't really matter. IT IS THE SUM TOTAL OF THE YEAR"S GROWTH OR INCREASE THAT COUNT.

2 Professional Car Brokers Used To Say To Each Other , "This Year I made 500,000 ah."

"Ha! I made 550,000 - more than you this year." They always compare note after one year to see how they both perform." And they always made 6 figures yearly.

Also these invest longer term in real estate, shops for passive rental income. Growth or Value Stocks, bonds & foreign currencies & gold. Little or no speculation.

4) The Super Rich

These Invest For Forever.

Men like Warren Buffet & Benjamin Graham & John Templeton will Hold For Ever Until Value EMERGE. Some Even When Value Has Emerged Also Not For Sale - McDonald, Wrigley Chewing Gum, Coca Cola & Walmart.

Others Only Invest In Their Own Businesses or In Real Estate. All Have Long Term View & Stamina in what they do.

How you invest will show how you perform in the long long future - both for your self, your loved ones and your future descendants.

One More Thing. The Poor Wants Instant Gratification While The Rich and Super Rich Delay or Postpone Gratification That They Might Have Even More To Enjoy In The Future.

There was a Small Time Car Broker In Kajang by the name of Mr. Lee. He used to ride on a motor bike with his very young daughter going every where finding cars for Used Car Dealers for small commission. Life was tough then in the early 1990s.

While driving from Kajang to Semenyih he showed me the Oil Palm Plantations all along the trunk road. He said, "All these plantation lands belong to my family." I said, "Since your family has So Much land why don't you tell your parents to just sell off the lands & you will live very well then."

He ruefully replied, "My grandfather before he died told my father strictly that the land is Not For Sale. So they tenanted out a small portion to a car repair shop for RM1,500 then.

That was 20 over years ago. Mr. Lee & his daughter later sell clothes in the Pasar Malam. I have not heard from him since then.

I used to buy 2nd Hand Car Spare parts from Queen Lai in Kajang until they ventured into property developments in Kajang.

I think by now this poor Mr. Lee is a Multi Millionaire many times over. If he still own those acres and acres of Prime Freehold Lands bought for only a few thousand dollars many years back by his grand father then.

Zu 1967,

I asked OSK Iskandar Top Boss to check up on ASB. The Hotel Cum Restaurant in France was purchased in year 2009 for about RM15 Millions. Some party has paid a down payment for this property for a Sale price of RM46.8 Millions. The deal will be completed by July 2014.

Although there is a gross profit of about RM30 Millions the proceed of the Sales will

1) Settle Bank Loans
2) Reduce gearing as a result.
3) NTA will increase by 2 cts.

This is a brief summary from him as he is very busy with 26 Dealers & Remisiers under him. Anyway he will monitor this Stock for any further development.

ASB has other Valuable Properties Still Not Revalued. And since price range of ASB has been around 13 Cts to 17 Cts The Price Has Not Been Goreng Up By The Market.

I think the Gross 6 Cts Profit From The Property Sale is a positive move. By selling off a few more High Value Properties ASB will be debt free.

If you ask me to chose between LCTH which has run up in price or ASB. I think I will opt for ASB

Calvin Tan

Could some one please go through ASB Year 2012 or 2013 Annual Reports and see the PROPERTIES OWNED BY ASB?

Do a thorough study of All Its Valuable Assets?

And please give us a revalued & up to date value.

Then Minus All Outstanding debts To Get The NTA.

Then MINUS 70% From NTA to get the Intrinsic Value

That Will Be The Target Price

Regards & Thanks,
