2ASB-L = 1 ASB if you convert 2 million ASB-L to 1 Million ASB your made .015 + .025 cent div
= RM17,500 profit

whkwoon, can i know where can i check the convertion method of 2ASB-LA = 1 ASB? cause i ask my broker he told me that they need 15cent+1ASB-LA = 1 ASB.

You can call the registrar , they just send you the annual report, they are the want that does the conversaion

There are 2 modes of conversions:
(1) 2 ASB-LA = 1 ASB OR
(2) RM0.15 + 1ASB-LA = 1 ASB

The choice of conversion mode actually depends on the share price of ASB. If price of ASB >> 0.30 then choice (2) is better.

There is a classical saying 'good management produces good share price and bad management produces bad share price'. When you select a share to buy, you expect to gain from the dividend and the appreciation of the share price; both of which are important catalyst to move share price

ASB have been sleeping all this well, so does the management team.

Technically, it is not looking good for ASB as its 20-Day Moving Average is sloping downward and its price action is below the Moving Average line. The recent downward movement in price has brought us to the technically important level of 0.205. Failure to find support at this level may accentuate the bearish move. The indicator analysis on RSI is not exhibiting any extreme condition. Watch out for the 30% and 70% levels which indicate any oversold and overbought condition respectively.

I just check their financial report, 2013 year all quarter loss money one, why still got dividend?Btw their financial condition such as cash in hand and debt ratio are in good condition, will this be a strong support for them?

sjneoh1986 keeping cash and do nothing is not good enough, the directors have to think way to improve earning for the company , the dividend pay out is below the FD rate, the present directors are too old and do not have the capabilities to drive the company forward, unless someone take over or else is a dead stock.

Actually ASB had been up from RM 0.14 till the highest RM 0.275 in May, almost double the price.
I think it will up again if next month's quarterly result shows profit which most probably as ASB had completed the sold of France at hotel.
Besides that, the convertion of LA to ordinary also cause the price couldn't up.
