seabird, i bought at 1.85 ... also the same la, lost on paper too. So .... need to hold. As what people always said, think about why you buy the stock in the first place. If the asset still there, and the company condition remain OK, then it will come back ... just the matter of time. For now, we need to believe this theory, hahaha .... since i dont wanna sell yet, so this will be the reason, or so called "excuse" :)
slow and steady better .... if today can shoot up 10 cent or 15 cent ... then nobody can guarantee that it wont drop 20 cent tomorrow. Step by step is always better.
1. GUOCO has a remaining total landbank of c.9,300 ac, of which 51% is in Sepang, 41% in Jasin, Melaka, 6% in Rawang and balance are niche parcels, which are mostly located in prime areas in Klang Valley (e.g. KLCC, Gombak, Sg Buloh, etc).
2. This underresearched group’s landbank size is not too far behind UEMS of c.12,000 ac and more than IJMLAND’s c.6,000 ac while its landbanks are mostly located in Klang Valley.
3. Guocoland’s current market cap of RM1.2b is unjustified when compared to IJMLAND’s RM5.2b and UEMS’s RM9.4b.
5. Damansara City (GDV: RM2.5b) will benefit from upcoming MRT station.
The project is located next to Pusat Damansara and directly fronts the upcoming MRT station.
The group is in the midst of selling its DC Residency.
undiscount Guocoland selling its completed offices via en bloc sales or securing JV investors.
Note that the group also has a 21.7% stake in Tower REIT that invests in offices, and is the manager of the REIT; this could be an avenue for asset realization as well. (Refer overleaf).
(Kuala Lumpur, on the 9th News) GuocoLand (Malaysia) Limited (GUOCO, 1503, the industry group) announced, in the year ended June 30, 2014 annual financial year, pre-tax profit achieved by year from 52.38 million ringgit surged nearly 2.3 times to 100 million 72.14 million ringgit.
Bursa Malaysia said it sent a letter, however, turnover fell from the early 200 million 63.26 million ringgit to 200 million 36.55 million ringgit.
