Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat is the chairman of OSK property and Pjdev which has been taken private recently...OLH is known to be a very shrewd n prudent investor who has developed OSK into a reputable property giant...I can assure you if OLH has become substantial Shareholder, Symlife will rise above 2.00 as he is a renown intelligent investor...LTH is also another driving force tat will propel Symlife to greater height...

OLH is very cunning businessman...Just look at how he took Pjdev private...He squeezed Sholders to the max depriving them of pjdev's true value...He is seeing growth in Symlife tat is why he acquired Symlife shares..

Besides I m optimistic tat even in times of property slump, Symlife is aggressively planning several upcoming projects soon tat should deliver strength to its future growth...I m sure research house will initiate a full coverage of tis gem soon...My target price is focus at 1.60 by year end n 2.20 by 2018...even Ecoworld n Mahsing can't beat Symlife...

Even without the Sg Long project, its 1 billion unbilled sales is sufficient to provide earning growth for the next 3 yrs to come...

but the amount of debt it carries in the balance sheet is huge - at about RM350M.

I notice that in AR FY2017 page 132 and 133 Symlife has joint a new company with 33.33% cost 5m called Jakel Land Sdn Bhd. Jakel Land SB has 690m total assets and 675m total liabilities. Quite a big amount. Anybody know what is this company?

ITS COMING QUARTER'S RESULTS/PROFITS WILL BE MUCH BETTER.
HENCE ITS OK TO SLIGHTLY DEFER THE DEVT OF ITS SG LONG LANDBANK (DUE TO THE GOVERNMENT'S ACQUISITION OF SOME SOME PORTION OF IT FOR A HIGHWAY WHICH WILL BOOST THE LANDS' ACCESSIBILITY AND VALUE. PLUS TO AMEND ITS MASTERPAN FOR A BETTER TOWNSHIP.

SYMLIFE HAS A LOT OF GOOD LANDED ASSETS WHICH ARE UNDERVALUED.
IT ALSO HAS MANY ONGOING PROJECTS TO DEVELOP SUCH LANDS AND ALL ARE SELLING VERY WELL DUE TO GOOD LOCATIONS. WITH UNBILLED SALES EXCEEDING 1.2B WHICH ARE BEING PROGRESSIVELY RECEIVED THESE REVENUES WILL SETTLE ALL ITS BORROWINGS.
ITS NEXT QUARTERLY RESULTS WILL SEE HIGHER REVENUES, BETTER PROFITS AND LOWER GEARINGS

Kancs, why are u worrying about its high borrowings...As long as earnings remain strong it will offset the borrowings soon...Anyway I m more interested of its strong growth and its good management n project execution...So organized and aggressive...

SYMLIFE'S DIVIDEND RECORDS SHOWED IT HAD PAID 5 SEN DIVIDENDS PLUS FREE TREASURY SHARES DISTRIBUTIONS.
WITH INCREASING PROFITS WE CAN SEE ITS DIVIDENDS NORMALISED BACK TO 4 TO 5 SEN PER YEAR.
IT NOW ALSO HOLDS 438,329 TREASURY SHARES WHICH CAN BE DISTRIBUTED ATTHE RIGHT TIME
