AGM N ITS 3 SEN DIVIDEND IS COMING IN 2 TO 3 WEEKS TIME. SO WE HAVE MANY POSITIVES INCLUDING A CUSHION OF 3 SEN DIVIDEND. AT 0.905 IT IS AN ATTRACTIVE PRICE. AGREE WITH YOUR VIEW "THOSE WHO AIM TO COLLECT IT AT LOW PRICES MUST ALSO LIKE SYMLIFE AND WILL PUSH UP ITS PRICE AFTER THEY HAD ACCUMULATED ENOUGH. @ nemesis - if the price prior to the quarterly results release breaks Rm1 - then, you are right. THat all the while , the price has been suppressed to ensure accumulation by "some" parties...until then, your theory is just a theory...
Kancs, u won't know what is happening behind backdoor...directors exchanging shares among them to push down the share price...U just need to have faith n buy more if they brought down the share price due to the "dividend effect"...Every time a company declared dividend price most likely will drop for their own benefits...take note!
actually it's the modus operandi of tabung haji to accumulate shares at low price. same like what they did to ksl don't be surprised when tabung haji emerged as a substantial shareholder of symlife. I bet it will be by next year, or as soon as end of this year

Symlife appoint Ascott as market agent to market 50% of its Tower 3, capitalize on Ascostt global branding. Ascostt will then market to retail investor internationally, the purchase will opt to sign with leaseback agreement allowing Ascott to manage their unit as hotel operation
The balance 50% in Tower 3 will market by symlife itself which will leverage on Acostt branding to command much higher value
Just attended the AGM this morning ....and the key take away point is that this counter is for long term play....not suitable for short term goreng. However, the EPS sure gonna fly in the coming financial year FY18 mainly due to strong performance by TWY and Star Residences. Alot has already been said about Tower 3 during the AGM. Ascott coming in to manage Tower 3 will definitely add a certain star quality to Tower 3. Ascott is a well known household brand in China and this will entice more of the Chinese buyers.
