RM1 psychological line. Estimated RM70 million compensation annually. That prove government only willing to pay as per the lower projected traffic volume at MRCB. Not good for MRCB as EDL would still eats into its cash flow and profit due to that SUKUK Loan repayment.

consider compensation, all these year MRCB has survived and had even go up to RM 1.8 before RI announcement. Calculate from there 1.8+.79 / 2 = RM 1.3 TP should be able to easily match!

hng33, already reported by The Star this morning lah....Saying estimated compensation for EDL would be around RM70 million annually. For Plus would be RM102 million annually. How come u all dont know about this? Dont you use any tool/app to track??? Still buying physical newspaper to read???

Larry Trader, it's only good if Gov willing to compensate RM70 million x 20 years to MRCB as a buyout of EDL. If Gov is going to pay annually of RM70 million while MRCB is still owning EDL and need to maintain it and service the SUKUK Loan, that wouldn't be good as RM70 million is not enough to service the SUKUK Loan and also maintenance cost.
