hengsame, I'm not a sifu. I don't predict market prices, as these are volatile and depends on investor sentiments. All I can do is calculate company fundamentals and prospects and believe that in due time the price will match the fundamentals. Ups and downs are normal, although the heavy profit taking after results announced were quite surprising to me.

Still, it's above RM 10, which is higher than what it was just last week. I do think the trading volumes and value, as well as the slew of new IPO listings this quarter is quite encouraging. Personally I'm still holding on. If it retraces further, I'll add more.

from klse screen : 炒家老套手法，加上現在可以一日賣空，讓炒家如魚得水。我查了一下，大量拋售的價格在10 .38，所以下午最高價也只到10.42或+，賣了之後 ，買回低於10.38的價格。接下來，炒家還要製造一些負面消息，讓股價更低，收購滿滿之後，再炒上一回。
因為這是賺錢的股票，人人都買來收藏，要再炒上是輕而易舉。
這就是炒家的套路，若炒家沒戲唱了，股價也會自然炒上。。

Prudent2, Q1 EPS = 8 sen
Q2= 10.7 sen
Q3 estimate=??
Q4 estimate=??

Historicaly, PE for Bursa has always been about 25-30. With breaking new record everyday, plus low interest rate environment and one of the safest business to invest in (impossible to lose money), should it warrant PE 30-35 perhaps?

Assuming Q3=12 sen and Q4=10.5sen (trading peak in this quarter and start to slow down by year end),
8+10.7+12+10.5=41.2sen.
PE 35= RM 14.42
PE 30= RM 12.36
PE 25= RM 10.30

Note that for the ONE MONTH of July... Bursa has pretty much equal trading value of Apr + May, not to mention Bursa takes a nice listing fee for new IPO, which we have now and didn't have before.

How about a scenario where the trading mania fueled by monetary policies and fiscal stimulus, loan moratorium and direct injection by the counter continues to soar?

Assuming Q3= 14sen, Q4= 16sen

8+10.7+14+16=48.7
PE35= RM 17.04
PE30=RM 14.61
PE25=RM 12.17

In the end, we all have to make reasonable assumptions on the business of bursa
1) Is the influx of newbie investors here to stay? Will they add more money in when they taste profits in this rebounding market?
2) will glove and tech stocks continue to be hot stocks? (note that whether they go up or down, bursa still takes a fee)

If you find your answer, you will have more confidence when you buy a stock. When it drops, you would buy more rather than get scared.

I hope this clears up some information for everyone here, and I hope everyone does their due diligence when investing. At the very least, you should know what you're buying into. Cheers. We're all here to make money.

@terence775, agree with most of your point, especially the low interest-rate environment. Average historical PE at around 26x, PER 30 make sense under current financial market. Last update on trading participation, we see foreign fund is coming back, I hope this can keeping up.

Current price 10lot X RM10.04 = RM 10,040
Dividend 10lot X 17sen = RM 170

Which mean 1.7% guaranteed return. TP 11 and TP12
So 10-20% return on capital.

Overall, still very attractive for those looking for guaranteed + stable return. Just wait for it.

Joyvest, what has current PE got to do with potential growth? Anyway, I illustrated 2 possible scenarios, one more conservative, one more aggressive. In the real world, probably the correct answer lies somewhere in between.
EPS 14sen is possible if july 110bil, aug 120bil and sept 130bil. Actually bursa is a very transparent company. Take their data and make your own calculations based on your assumptions

terrence, since you say it is a very transparent co,i take your assumption as being reasonable. given the EPS 14 ie 40% growth, the current share price has been reflected of future growth. the current PE is a dynamic one and indication of future growth of cos. nevermind, keep your research and feed me with the expected growth, i will be able to judge the trend...
