Anyway, BURSA trading volume and value looks like going to easily set a new record again. Will the trading frenzy continue through Q3? Very interesting! Perhaps RM 12 isn't so far fetch'd.

Now you know the power of ipo. The gain nt only the processing fee, it will provide volume n value to bursa which are indirect gain to their revenue n profit. Glove counter won't end so fast. HKEX 388 which is Hong Kong version of BURSA jump 10% when Ant Financial service group announce going for IPO.

for BURSA Q3, July is already an extremely good month. Aug and Sep. This 2 month is likely that glove sector will move up again probably. If this Aug alone is good enough. Bursa hitting RM12 is achievable.

It doesn't matter if EPF dispose or not. It is too speculative. Look at the current market condition and calculate it. EPF might dispose to enter more fast making and profitable counters. E.g. like Topglove.

The current market condition is extremely favourable for Bursa. Unless there is a major correction. Then it would change.

KUALA LUMPUR (July 23): The FBM KLCI closed up 19.44 points or 1.22% at 1,606.42 today while trade volume across Bursa Malaysia rose past 12 billion securities again this week as the rubber glove- and healthcare-related sectors continued to be a major theme in the local equities market due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Across Bursa at 5pm, 12.12 billion securities were traded for RM6.65 billion. Gainers outpaced decliners at 599 to 452 respectively.

Trading volume across Bursa rose past 12 billion securities again today after climbing to its record high at 12.5 billion securities on Monday.

Sinoboy, structured call warrants cannot be converted to mother share. Warrants starting with C (call) and H (put) are issued by banks. W warrants are company warrants that can be converted to mother share at a certain ratio and exercise price.

C30 is a highly leveraged warrant right now. If you're not sure what you're doing, best to not touch it. C27 or C28 is a safer bet for newbies, otherwise you might get burnt and lose all your money.

Please be careful when playing with warrants, as the gains and losses are amplified equally. I recommend you study Macquarie Research articles on warrants first. Very informative. Otherwise you're just gambling.

CoolJay, based on the questions you ask, it seems you need to study more regarding structured warrants. My advise would be to limit yourself to buying the mother share only until you learn how to calculate the value of warrants.

To answer your question, "what is the price of the warrant if the mother share goes to 11.40?", here's the calculation

Exercise price 7.70. Ratio 9:1.
at RM 11.40, the warrant would be worth (in value) RM 0.41.

So you have to calculate yourself if C30 is worth it?

If Profit is 80million, then it is within market expectation loh.....it will be different story if they announce 90 million.....hehe.....
