Maybe East wind over now West wind season? After suffering significant evaporated profits twice since my early Dec 2021 trade entries, I have lowered my upswing expectation from abt 60+ sen to abt 30+ sen. Has been much more rewarding since this adjustment. Seasons change, wind directions change. Up to an observant stock trader to steer his ship accordingly. The swing cycle duration is shorter, the swing magnitude is smaller also. But the swing distance travelled will work out to be abt the same since 2 short swings is abt the same as a large swing like the good old days.

Nevertheless, the big move may only surface after multiple cha cha cha for multiple years

Macro picture may not be conducive for big swings at the moment. 40 yr high CPI, hawkish fed potentially going for 50 basis rate hikes, quantitative tightening possibly at US$95B / mth, inverted yield curve, covid resurgence at TiongLand, international sanctions here and there, etc. Guerrilla warfare tactics of short swings seems less risky and can be just as profitable.

Despite Beijing's promises to ease up on its crackdown on Chinese financial markets, Reuters recently reported that the country's top securities regulator has launched a crackdown on brokerages using feng shui - an ancient Chinese tradition - to predict stock market trends in notes to clients.
Citing local media reports in the Chinese Securities Journal, Reuters revealed that China's Securities Regulatory Commission recently unveiled a "zero tolerance" policy prohibiting brokers from using feng shui to justify its stock recommendations.
As part of the crackdown, it has punished some brokers who have incorporated feng shui techniques into their market forecasts and investment advice. Such techniques include 'heavenly stems' and 'earthly branches,' - also known as tiangan dizhi, Yin-Yang, and Five Elements.


But my friends said fengshui is quite good in predicting what will happen in stock.
