@nicholas99...if you look at history price chart, thisis just beginning of the mountain peak...i would not mind the volatility, as long as there is fat dividend...i can also sleep well with this counter...even when we invested at rm 4, where it drop to rm 3, we all could sleep well enough too, to be honest, knowing it will bouce back strongly...
We never worry it went down to rm 4.3 last time...just not worry at all, we all trust LKT will bring back the glorios moment...
The buy up such huge 40-50 sen a single morning, cannot be from retail buyer...must be some big boss/funds../never mind later it retrieve some....look at the fact, the PE ratio is still low...planation, commodaty, RM-FOreign conversion---GEN resorts... i have no reason to give up on these GENM and GENTING at these values..
Authorities in Taiwan have granted approval for Genting Hong Kong to resume domestic sailings via its Explorer Dream vessel.
According to the Taipei Times, Minister of Transportation and Communications Wang Kwo-tsai confirmed this week that the Central Epidemic Command Center had approved an application from Genting HK to restart cruises from January 2022.
However, island-hopping tours would not resume until the northern summer due to the monsoon season.
Genting HK had originally resumed cruises out of Taiwan, at reduced capacity, in July 2020 but was forced to halt operations in May 2021 following another outbreak of COVID-19. The company had previously been pushing for a September resumption but had been unable to gain approval until now.
It has been a busy few months for Genting Group’s cruise ship arm, which only this week secured a US$30 million injection of funds from its controlling shareholder, Lim Kok Thay.
The company announced an increase in ship capacity for sailings out of Hong Kong from 50% to 75% from 1 December, began accepting international travelers on its Singapore cruises around the same time and revealed it will also resume sailings out of Malaysia via Star Cruises from 22 December 2021.
20.3% only.. GENTING Bhd's 20.3%-owned TauRx Pharmaceuticals Ltd has been undertaking research in neurodegenerative diseases for more than three decades
This LKT waste so much money already? TauRx Pharmaceuticals receives $111.8m commitment from Genting to prepare for Market Leadership in Alzheimer's SINGAPORE and KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Nov.
Genting chairman and CEO Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay had said in the group’s latest annual report: “Although the investments in R&D within the medical space pose higher risks than other investments, as the results and success rates are uncertain and the gestation period for any breakthrough discovery can be long ... the group is committed to finding new solutions to improve the health of mankind and the community.”
let's temper our enthusiasm here although the result is encouraging as the disease is extremely difficult to treat and there is still a long journey to fda approval
