BCorp said the JV agreement would also see goods and services being supplied to Cosway Pharmacies (to be re-branded as Berjaya My Chemist pharmacies) and Tigas Alliance pharmacies.

CW Retail will also issue a license to the JV company to use its intellectual property rights in connection with the operation of the co-brand `Chemist Warehouse Berjaya Asia’ pharmacies and co-brand `Chemist Warehouse Marks’ in Malaysia.

“The acquisition-cum-subscription and the subscription of new shares in Monarch Wonder was/will be funded [by] internally-generated funds of the BCB group,” said BCorp.

BJCorp shares closed half a sen or 1.27% higher at 40 sen today, for a market capitalisation of RM1.8 billion.

bjcorp got a lot of nice sub company like toto, starbuck, cosway... and hold big share in magni, bjauto, redtone.... in market, how you can find a stock like this? Plus following good news, vietnam project, pharmacy.... but price still no big move. Reason 1: volume, 2: Structure really complex, 3: Small shareholder still cannot be benefit within last 5 years. Hope another next 5 years, management really can care the small shareholder. Think how to improve our benefit.

ganasai, sold most of magni-tech already lah! and its in the process of selling bjauto and bjfood... what's so funny though, bjcorp had mentioned about paring down bjfood for a while but manage to sell more bjauto than bjfood, wonder why?!?

ling, about 6 years ago, i bought around 90c and sold all @ RM1.69. It rises to 1.80 + and start falling until 34c.

5-6 years ago the richest guy in China is 王傳福, he attempted to diversify into electric car and gave Berjaya the right to build right-hand wheeled car globally. They failed. For me, at the time there is no way to lose because the wind direction is favourable.

Then, Vincent Tan retired, successor is new, Jeju project failed, etc etc, its look ugly to have a share price of 34c. The economy is bad at this time, they do not worry so much of hostile takeover, but having a better share price does give them more warchest to deal with everything.

Now the wind direction is right, operation improves, share prices of subsidiaries also good, probably they felt embarassing to have 34c share price of the mother company. They reorganise Cosway, probably got more good news lineup coming.

Look at the bright side, if they failed, they can just borrow and takeover the whole company.

business no always get profit, but gambling business is stable and profitable.Can earn more depend on management and experince. bjcorp hv the experince,and knowledge through toto malaysia.they also hv oversea gambling business at filipina through toto filipina. now we invest on the future of the gambling business at vietnam with low entry.

Sometimes bjcorp get me so suspicious, why? VT sons all high educated, 2nd generation, capable entreuphner father & his uncles backgroumd, plus all kind of staff helping. How come bjcorp can drops to 34c when issue price is rm1? See vivocom issue price only 10c, but double the value.
