Vietnam is considering legalizing sports betting but keeping the maximum limit of betting at VND1 million or US$45 a day, Thanh Nien News Online reported on Monday.

The Finance Ministry will submit the proposal to the government for consideration this month, said an official of the ministry who asked not to be identified.

The proposal seeks to legalize betting on certain international football matches to be decided by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and people can bet on the scores, number of red and yellow cards and etc.

The Finance Ministry’s “half-hearted” proposal was met with cold shoulder from Vietnam Association of Financial Investors whose deputy chair, Nguyen Hoang Hai, expressed disappointment.

“No one will bet within the proposed limit. Or they will have others to bet for them,” he said, adding: “betting should be either banned or legalized; it should not be half allowed like this.”

The low betting ceiling has been panned with critics saying it would not help stop illegal gambling.

The National Assembly general secretary, Nguyen Hanh Phuc said only poor people would gamble under the proposed betting rule with the rich and big gamblers still betting illegally.

Le Dang Doanh, former director of the Central Institute for Economic Management, said the betting plan would fail to achieve its target of preventing illegal betting.

BJCorp have 4924M share;

(1) BJCorp have 75% of BJLand, BJLand total share have 5000M; 75% and sell BJLand at RM0.60 total get RM2250M/=, that mean BJCorp have RM2250M/4924M~+=RM0.46 cash;

(2) BJCorp have 75% of BJLand, and BJLand have BJToto 40%, BJToto total share is 1351M, and sell BJToto at RM3.00, that mean get 1351 x 0.75 x 0.40 x RM3.00 ~= RM1216M;
BJCorp have BJFood 50%, BJFood have 378,31M share, and sell BJFood at RM1.50 can get 378.31 x 0.50 x RM1.50 ~=RM283.73, this two campany add up can get RM1500M, mean BJCorp have RM1500M/4924M ~=RM0.30

(3) BJCorp have cash and bank balance ( 2016 Annual Report Pg.12) RM1,788,664,000, that mean cash per share have RM1,788,664,000/4,924,000,000 ~= RM0.36;

I cannot see why cannot invest in this share, may be have other, but this is sure goreng share.
The world market is unstable due to FED direction, but FED will do the right decision to make the economy forward. Already know is a problem that mean not a problem.

Bubble sure is bubble, Federal reserve is dollars floods, but they need to solve it. Need to sacrifice some of the political interest.

U can't just look at the cash & bank balances to determine the value of share price. U have to add other current assets & deduct all current liabilities too. And what about the fixed assets? BJCORP may be holding lots of cash but it also has lots of payable debts (RM 11.2 billion).

For those who r wondering why the price keeps falling.... according the its financial statements, BJC lost 0.0324 per share (per yr). So if u deduct 0.0324 from last year's price of 0.420, u get a fair value at 0.385. So we can expect the price to rise to 0.385 before the coming AGM.
