A Quick Guide to Cash Settlement on Expiry for BJCorp C5!

Which are the important dates?
Last trading: 5pm @19/07 (Thurs)
Suspension date: 9am @20/07 (Fri)
Expiry date: 9am @24/07 (Tue)

What happens on expiry?
- When Cash Settlement price > Exercise price = In-The-Money (ITM). Warrant will have value at expiry & automatically be exercised.
- When Cash Settlement price < Exercise price = Out-of-The-Money (OTM). Warrant expires worthless.

:o: Here's an EXAMPLE calculation for Cash Settlement Amount if C5 is > RM0.35 e.g. RM0.42, In-The-Money (ITM)
Say, you purchased 100,000 BJCORP-C5 CALL WARRANTS .
Exercise price: RM0.35
Exercise ratio: 1 warrant to 1 mother share (aka underlying)

Your Cash Settlement Amount:
If Cash Settlement Price on 24/07 is RM0.42:
= Number of BJCorp-C5 exercised x [(Cash Settlement Price - Exercise Price) / Exercise Ratio ]
= 100,000 x [(0.42-0.35) / 1]
= RM7,000 approx

If Cash Settlement Price on 24/07 is RM0.50:
= Number of BJCorp-C5 exercised x [(Cash Settlement Price - Exercise Price) / Exercise Ratio ]
= 100,000 x [(0.50-0.35) / 1]
= RM15,000 approx

* The Cash Settlement Price of RMx.xx is based on the average daily volume weighted average price (VWAP) of the ordinary shares of BJcorp for the five (5) market days prior to and including the market day immediately before the Expiry Date.

* If you purchased 100,000 BJcorp C5 call warrants on 8/6/18 @0.015 per unit. Total cost is 100,000 x RM0.015 = RM1,500.

* If the cash settlement price is RM0.42, your profit would be, Cash Settlement Amount - Call Warrants Purchase Price = RM7,000 - RM1,500 = RM5,500?

So the higher the price of BJcorp mother share above RM0.35 on 24/07, the higher the returns..

bjcorp need daily volume above 50 k only can move , their pay up capital a lot that ,on 8/6/18 -daily volume is 67k , monitor daily volume ,u all can see sapnrg daily volume above 40k , if bjcorp daily volume continuely above 50k , monitor first resistance 41 sen ,can it break out or not !!

Techinical view : monitor BJCorp if close 34 sen for first days ( market close price ) , 200 days moving average , and stay that for 3 to 4 days , if it stay for 4 days 34 sen and above ( to flush out contra player ), that mean bjcorp will move to 41 sen for it strong resistance , and important bjcorp need daily volume above 50k to move to 41 sen ( monitor daily volume )

"Yes, there is going to be an 8.5 Richter shake-up (in the police force) soon in July," a source told ST.

Several chiefs in Malaysia's police force are expected to be removed next month, including the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), as the new Pakatan Harapan government seeks to "cleanse" the organisation, sources said. Three departments that are believed to be graft-ridden are also expected to abolished, with a handful of department heads sacked, the sources who insisted on anonymity told The Straits Times.

The three departments expected to be scrapped are the Special Task Force for Anti-vice, Gaming and Gangsterism (STAGG), Special Task Force on Organised Crime (STAFOC) and Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING).
Speaking about the expected shutdown of the three "special" departments, a source said a big problem was their suspected involvement in corruption and protecting the criminals they were supposed to rein in.

"That's one of the main reasons why there are plans to abolish STAGG, STAFOC and STING. Too many of those who were entrusted to fight the underworld are also the ones who protect them," another source said.

"Berjaya owns OASB with is a manufacturing licence that enables it to assemble vehicles, manufactures and sell engines and transmission. In its early days, it produced Opel, Datsun and Bedford cars.

Manufacturing licences are no longer dished out now due to excess capacity in the automotive industry. The Johor Bahru assembly plant has the capacity of producing 40,000 units per annum. A total of 284,461 vehicles were sold in Malaysia for the first six months of this year.

While it will take time to conclude deals with foreign players, BAssets is keeping the production crew occupied with assembly work outsourced from Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp). The latter is involved in the marketing and distributorship of Chinese commercial vehicles such as Changan, Jinbei, Dongfeng Sokon and Foton Motor Group vehicles in Malaysia."

Malaysia has become the latest battleground for foreign carmakers to fill a gap in their Asean strategy. French carmaker PSA Group, which produces Peugeot and Citroen, was an early contender to become a foreign strategic partner of ailing national carmaker Proton Holdings Bhd.

PSA wants to start a greenfield automotive plant for its Southeast Asian market either in Indonesia, Thailand or Malaysia so as to reduce its reliance on the challenging and slow growth in the European market. It plans to manufacture between 300,000 to 500,000 cars per annum to sell to the Asean market’s 600 million population. “One of the brands we are now in talks with has no foothold in Rayong [Thailand] and is very eager to come over. There are also contenders from China,” she says in an interview with FocusM. Rayong is Thailand’s automotive hub with carmakers like BMW Group, General Motors and Mazda having assembly plants there.
