Frankly, Keck Seng's earnings was not the major factor why I bought its shares. I bought Keck Seng because of its assets especially land, many of which have not been revalued for over 30 years.

Very thinly traded counter. I think traders are buying and selling among themselves. So Keck Seng's price seems quite artificial.

When the directors wish to privatise this company, they will offer small shareholders the prevailing market price plus a small premium irrespective of whether the company is worth RM 20 a share. If they can gather more than 90% support from shareholders, the deal would be through.

What do you guys think is the best thing a company with a paid up capital of RM 360 million, consisting of 360 million shares and in possession of RM 1.15 billion and seems to be at a loss as to what to do with such a vast amount of cash money should do?

They sold Parkway, they gave bonus . Now nothing significant sold , except exchange gain , so bonus is unlikely. I kept as I believe one day it will be privatized .

If investors don't buy this counter and allow some people to control its price, I am afraid when it is privatized, the offer price would be somewhere around RM 5.40
