KOTA KINABALU: A PAS call for a liquor ban in Labuan has prompted a leader from a component party in the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition to raise the fear of an economic setback for the island.
“Labuan is not as vibrant as KL,” said Labuan PBS chief Peter Mak in reaction to Labuan PAS chief Hamir Zahari’s proposal that authorities on the duty-free island follow Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s example by blocking the sale of liquor at sundry shops.
Only the backward thinking state would do this kind of thing.. limited to that kind of state only.. don’t worry analyst mentioned smallish impact… STEADY….

If BN continue won more, they no need PAS anymore, PAS power will back to northern territories. Their mission to ban alcohol and gambling will be lose. Gambling and alcohol counter may fly this.
IMO gaming sector is sunset business. Only can buy for short term. No long term investment value. Only older generation believe in earning money from gambling.
Borrow as much as possible to dividend or do capital repayment to shareholders is their strategy and risk management. Govt will not dare to take away their license as the banks will collapse.
once borders opened on 1 Apr 2022, revenue will increase further. Local will enjoy better sales, so more money to spend on magnum4d and bjtoto. Foreign workers will also buy magnum4d and bjtoto to try their luck. These 2 counters will benefit from the reopening of the borders.
Magnum seem moving from its bottom price gradually.
