Sarawak’s timber exports down 20% because of Covid-19

KUCHING: Sarawak’s timber exports have dropped by 20% for the first three quarters of the year because of Covid-19, Deputy Chief Minister Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said.

He said the state’s timber exports from January to September amounted to RM2.8 billion compared with RM3.5 billion in the same period last year.

Exports of plywood, the main timber product, dropped by 17% to RM1.5 billion compared with RM1.8 billion in 2019.

Awang Tengah said exports to all major markets, including Japan, India, the Middle East and Korea, have dropped.

U analyse properly lah....!!

The latest logs production figure for Wtk & jtiasa already bottom up & stabilise loh...!!

For example the lowest log production for wtk is dec 2019 at 8628 m3 but in latest oct 2020 it is 12524 m3 up 45% mah...!! Also selling price up 40% mah....!! very powerful gain mah...!!

Likewise Jtiasa lowest production is in Jan 20 at 3003 m3 but in the latest Oct 20 it when up sharply to 14802 m3 a very sharp increase of 393% mah.!

With further high gain in selling price of 40%, u can expect very big improvement in jtiasa

Always look at these very important big changes & improvement loh..!!

Until Sept latest qtr result cpo average is roughly rm 2600 mah!!

December QTR we will be seeing conservatively Average Price Rm 3200, that is 23% increase in price n this increase revenue will all goes to the bottom line profit as there are no cost applicable to revenue generated from price increase loh...!!

Just imagine if Average palm oil price is Rm 2800, U already see super strong profit loh!! But now we are at above 3500 loh...!!

Can U forecast & project what will palmoil company potential profit at rm 3500 cpo leh ?

Despite the strong cpo prices, the things pressing it down is the cpo tax implementation, it was already confirmed at 8% now loh..!!

Now with this news already out & behind us, we look at the cpo future & it ranges from jan to august Rm 3800 to Rm 3000, all above the super profitable benchmark price of Rm 3,000 over 8 months.

Thus if u have invested in palmoil stock , you can expert super profit for at least 8 months loh...!!

In addition u need to know, if cpo prices above rm 2,600 u already substantial good margin and profit as most of plantations cpo cost is around rm 1,600 per ton mah...!!

Thus 2021 will be a very good year for palm oil plantation mah...!!

Market is still sceptic about palmoil...it will turn positive optimistic very soon loh...!!

Go in early, do not be late like Johnny come lately mah..!!

last qtr impairment mark down for losses in lumber and also depreciation

now no more so next qtr with cpo and lumber so high prices Wtk will do much better

Wtk still cash rich with Rm350 millions

Assets are also in old book value

Wtk should rise up to follow Jtiasa

it should only be 10% less than Jtiasa just like Thplant should be trading slightly less than bplant

As cpo going to cross Rm4000 all plantation stocks will all go up together as a whole
