Answer : This year saw many EV been introduce in Malaysia! I heard all soldout! Hyundai EV was snapped up so fast! Good start! Maybe 5 years from now, almost all sales will be EV!
As for Hengyuan, enjoy the harvest! We may never see this ever again as EV replace ICE cars!

I very bullish Hengyuan coming quarterly result will be 90sen which make 60sen+90sen = rm1.50 . PE of 4 . this is way undervalue.

Actual what SSlee comment is correct , so No new co or existing refineries dare to invest in this sector , the crack spread will continue to grow higher until a day where supply cover demand or exceeded demand , by then only crack spread will reverse the trend , but how long or how many years will this happen ?

Global addict on oil won’t go away in our lifetime. You need plenty of petroleum to make lubricants, various plastic products etc economically. You only have EV cars. What about the current bulldozer, excavator, tractors, trucks, ships, boats, aircrafts, etc ? Do we have a technology in the next 10 years to shift these equipment from using petroleum products to EV ?

We import so many recond cars from Japan as we speak and these cars can be on the road for the next 20 years without much problem . We can’t even design our own vehicles and we only buy a old obsolete model blueprint from China and Japan and reproduce them here. EV is still very far from us.
