Those who are smart don't spend too much time here as nothing much can be achieved except feel good stories, fear, brag, unrealistic figures.... etc
Story telling is better lah....
A few Ah Pek ( not knowing each other) worn trendy sunglasses and sat in a kopitiam round table to chit chat. Ah Pek A told the rest that he used to be a great driver. He could drive Koenigsegg with speed of 340 mph in Autobahn without being caught by traffic police ( can Koenigsegg reach 340 mph??? lol)
It was Ah Pek B's turn to brag. He told the rest that his special formulated additive mixes with premium petrol (in full tank) in his latest Tesla Model S could give 2000 km mileages drive (since when Tesla uses combustion technology???)
All the stories were GREAT!!!! And each of the Ah Pek was given a chance to narrate his story. At the end of the day, sunset came and all Ah Pek left the round table happily without knowing that all of them were BLIND.
A blind tells another blind about the sensational experience in car driving....lol
This is what happening in this forum. Haiyah... Very sad to see many junk messages. Please write something constructive for the benefit of all DNEXers here. No offend to others.....
That's why the comments from some against those posting love letters and sick messages, bounded by an extreme urgency to seek attention. This one in particular owns a gypsy crystal ball to look into the future, tomorrow closing price actually.
Incredible and ludicrous indeed. Perhaps, a quicker way to investments would be 4-D Magnum numbers, since already holding the crystal ball?
Was about to pick up the mobile and call the operators to dump all my shares at 81 sens when I noticed the Report was done last 12 August. Guess I am 2 months too late!
Glancing the written Report, again it felt like reading History in class. Here, we thought all movements are forward and into the future but a look at the past? Cannot for the life of me, understand why people go to great lengths to copy the past for records when it's all been known too well.
It's the future potential and the planning we need to know, not trying to remember what we ate for breakfast last Tuesday.
Semiconductors.... any impact to DNex/Silterra ?.... maybe yes maybe no.
Apple finally falls victim to never-ending supply chain crisis
(Oct 13): Apple Inc, the world’s most valua- ble company, has finally joined a growing list of household names from Toyota to Sam- sung forced to cut back on business because of a global shortage of semiconductors. Apple is now likely to slash its project- ed iPhone 13 production targets for 2021 by as many as 10 million units, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday. For months, while supply chain shocks rocked the electronic, automaking, and even commodities industries, Apple re- mained the one company that could secure the chips needed to keep selling its latest range of products, due to its well-managed supply chain and the prestige of meeting its exacting standards. But the recent setback for Apple has dashed any hopes that the supply-chain crisis was easing. “If this is happening to the most power- ful company,” it could happen to anyone, said Neil Campling, an analyst at Mira- baud Securities. Given “they have huge power in terms of their ability to source semiconductors as such a key customer, then everyone else will be having greater issues than they are.” Apple’s scaleback is a clear sign that the supply disruptions that have wreaked havoc around the world are worsening, which may jeopardize the outlook for the post-pan- demic economic recovery. Almost all major manufacturers have been impacted both by a lack of key materials such as semicon- ductors, but also an inability to get finished goods into the hands of consumers. President Joe Biden is set to focus on transportation bottlenecks on Wednes- day, with the congested Port of Los Ange- by Debby Wu & Abhishek Vishnoi Bloomberg reuters les planning a 24 hours a day, seven days a week effort to confront the squeeze on goods.A.P.Moller-MaerskA/Ssaidithad to divert some ships from the UK’s largest container port because of congestion tied to a trucker shortage. “Recent rumblings from chip produc- ers suggest that the problems are expected to persist,” Deutsche Bank AG strategists including Jim Reid, global head of funda- mental credit strategy wrote in a note. That “will make central bank decisions even more complicated over the coming weeks as they grapple with increasing supply-side con- straints that push up inflation whilst threat- ening to undermine the recovery.” Apple had expected to produce 90 mil- lion new iPhone models this year, but is now telling manufacturing partners that the total will be lower because Broadcom Inc and Texas Instruments Inc are strug- gling to deliver enough components, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the situation is private. Japan Display Inc, which gets more than half of its revenue from Apple, fell as much as 5.6%, joining US suppliers that fell in postmarket trading. The shortage of semiconductors stems mainly from years of under-investment cou- pled with a failure to gauge the explosion in demand for connected devices. Even industry insiders were caught by surprise. ASML Holding NV CEO Peter Wennink, whose company sells the machines that en- able most cutting-edge chipmaking, said in July it’s underestimated the growth of the semiconductor industry over the past 15 years. The amount of time that companies need to wait for chip orders to get filled has set records for nine straight months, signalling that semiconductor shortages will contin- ue to plague businesses well into 2022 and likely beyond. AlixPartners, a global con- sulting firm, estimated last month that the global automotive industry will lose about US$210 billion in sales for 2021 alone. Earlier this year, Apple had already warned that it would face supply con- straints of the iPhone and iPad during the quarter that ended September. But it held off from reducing its internal projections at the time. The timing couldn’t be worse. The year- end quarter was expected to be Apple’s biggest sales blitz yet, generating about US$120 billion in revenue. That would be up about 7% from a year earlier — and more money than Apple made in an entire year a decade ago. In addition to facing tight iPhone avail- ability, the company has struggled to make enough of the Apple Watch Series 7 and other products. Separately, a protracted energy crisis in China may add to the iPhone maker’s headaches. Apple supplier TPK Holding Co said last week that subsidiaries in the southeastern Chinese province of Fujian are modifying their production schedule due to local government power restrictions. That comes less than two weeks after iP- hone assembler Pegatron Corp adopted energy-saving measures amid govern- ment-imposed power curbs. Some analysts however spot an oppor- tunity for Apple. “If Apple can’t meet near-term demand, the shortfall is likely to be even greater at competitors, creating an opportunity for share gains,” Morgan Stanley analysts wrote after Bloomberg’s report.
Err, sorry non-techkie here, but is Silterra manufacturing such Nano chips for iphones? If not, what's the great issue compiling their woes in supplies from productions at Silterra?
Please bear with me as I have the faintest ideas with semicondutor chips. If Silterra doesn't produce these....then it's just a waste of valuable time to read such un-supportive News.
Lalazai9, idk hw many times i heard the same thing d hahah. But no worries,i treat all this as my daily entertainment while waiting for dnex to skyrocket
Opinions normally worth 2 sen or less why need to burst an artery or vein for it ? There is a reason why hot air floats upward, beyond the ear scope within seconds. As said, 90 or some even say 98% of the players in Bursa lose money, and from experience, I dare to say, short term punters, all of them in the long run lose money. Law of averages works in a wonderful way, just like a two edge sword, cutting both ways and it definitely hurt badly.
yes, Abidjan,i support your calculation. It need no complex formulae to assess value of dnex but just simple arithmatics n common sense! All news --global chip shortage, global energy crisis are working in favour of dnex !!! So many rubbish counters which surge this week now catch numerous bilis trapped. Dnex is much better though no actual rise. Staying at 75 sen is a good sense. It is MANUPULATED even counters losing for yrs with no tomorrow catch up with dnex in share price. Sharks want to collect more tickets from bilis. I believe the no of bilis with a few hundred lots and holding power r significant , If we are united and hold on till next result release in Nov, the sharks r beatan by us ! Dont despair but Stay HOPEFUL cos your rewards are just weeks away !!!! Those rubbish counters on par with dnex or even above it in price will trap u for years !!!
DNeX needs minimum 300 million trading transactions to move share price. Once the vol is building up over a few days, the share price normally moves. Up or down ?
Siltera will bring big red color to dnex Any profit from oil, will not help dnex Even airasia shine brighter then dnex Siltera need 5-8 year to turn around Next qtr will bring dnex toward 0.60. No operator dare to goreng up.
biasa lah, when price down is rubbish share, only price up is good share, this the FA of MY investors. the theory is equivalent with Genting big or small
Local :1) Shaky Politics turn stable till at least before next general election - Prerequite for a bullish stock market which probably would last for at least 6 months for raising funds for the next GE.
2) Unprecedented price for crude palm oil (Rm 4K and above into 3rd month )probably sustainable for another 12 months .
3) Crude oil would very likely to stay at USD 80 and above till next year which benifit lots of Oil n gas enterprises and listed companies and of course billions of dividends from Petronas to the Govt.
Bigger picture (Global): 1) US -China trade war easing , positive for internationa trade and the US stock market which will not crash for at least another 10 year, absolutely to the contrary of some silly ppls` forecast, So another global stock market collapse like what happened early last year is impossible.
2) Unprecedented Global energy crisis will push natural gas and crude oil price surge further. Bolihland is rich in these resources .
3) Global chip shortage especially 8 inch wafer which auto industry are desperately seeking for more supply. EV will surge in ever risiong production and will replace combustion engine models completely by 2030 in Europe which mean more demand for chips.
Which of the above factors signify positive or negative factors for Dnex ? Draw your own conclusion . If u cant , please dont invest in stock market. It is not for u , a piece of wood !!! I m writing it purely for the benefit of retailers like myself, without getting any pay from any party. Enough is enough for operator to stop bullying us for the past 6 months at least !!!
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
