DAGANG NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) is currently in talks with Foxconn Singapore Pte Ltd and Beijing Integrated Circuit Advanced Manufacturing and High-End Equipment Equity Investment Fund Centre (CGP Fund) regarding the expansion plans for SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd, following efforts and initiatives undertaken to stabilise Malaysia’s biggest chipmaker.

During a virtual session with the media last Friday, DNeX group managing director Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said there were “opportunities on the table” and that the group had initiated discussions.

“Part of the discussions is for a big capacity upgrade at SilTerra, which Foxconn definitely wants to look into and invest in. It is still ongoing, so I cannot really tell you what the final decision is. Now that [SilTerra] has stabilised, we are looking at the next level of expansion,” he added.

How large your holdings, cikminah ? Can give rough figure, if dont mind ? Btw, dont despair, surprise is always there in stock market. Who knows when everyone is so disappointed and despair, the manipulator or big shark has collected over 70% of the liquidity and starts pushing towards end of year.
of course i have no insider info, just wild guess or dream. But as you always said, patience is the greatest virtue !!

Gov under khazanah had given up supporting this loss making company.

Even rejected bids from international firms like Foxconn, X-Fab,etc that offer 2-3 times more than DNEX.

Silterra is the "prized asset" of Msia
