The drum roll has always been there ever since the name SilTerra was mention with this counter years ago without showing any upside. Maybe the kick will be this new tender.
The management does not care about share price....it's true. BUT it's not fair to say the CEO (now Chairman) is useless. I know a top guy in proton previously, he has huge respect for ZA - hardworking, meticulous. This round it just appears that he does what he needs to do and can't help w share price
Very subjective to said when the best time to run lol as it really depends on entry price, surely if you just come in recently, you won't see much, such as during 0.50++ time, 0.40++ time, 0.30++ time, yes, you can wait......those above 0.60++ days will be really torturing especially the glorious SilTerra time, will be thinking can SilTerra still return to glorious time since 2022?
@UncleFollower people who know TSZA would not worry with him on helm. The guy is very passionate and he is very vocal about the share price. He does not worry about it at all and believes it is just noise
SilTerra hosted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the YAB Prime Minister and E&E Industry players on 8th August 2024 that was to gather feedback and insights from key players in the E&E industry to be incorporated into the 2025 Budget. The program was coordinated by the Ministry of Finance and the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA). The event was graced by the presence of notable figures, including the Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Diraja Anwar bin Ibrahim…
Cannot be that the PM will help subsidies Siltera. It’s throwing money in a well. I guess maybe will allow the Chinese to hold indirect shares so as not to trigger the mandatory 55% local ownership thus still securing the manufacturing licence...
I don’t see Khazanah or Epf wanting to touch it with even a long long pole. But knowing this PM, he will want the issue to work... so I guess,,, no matter how bad I look at it , maybe will be some hope HERE. I would buy only after the QR..
I don't know what the current government of Malaysia will do to promote investment in the Semi-conductor industry. Surely offering "Pioneer status" to Silterra for 20 years is a possibility with free interest loan. This is just an example.
On the other hand, the chinese partner in Silterra may have to come out with the investment for their shares. In other words, DNeX may be offered for the interest free loan, instead of Silterra.
The Majority of the semi conductors required in the next 5+ year will be low end wafer (EE & EV). If the supply can not meet the demand, what would happen to the selling price?
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
