The European Union


Although comprised of various countries that have their own set and proposed goals in place, the European Union as a whole has many notable plans for doing its part. The EU Effort Sharing Regulation applies to sectors in the EU economy that are outside of the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) which is the largest trading system in the world and applies to factories, power stations, airlines within the region, and various installations, accounting for 40% of the greenhouse emissions there. The EU Effort Sharing Regulation, on the other hand, makes up for approximately 60% of emissions in the EU, between agriculture, business, transport, non-ETS industries, and waste.


The ETS proposes,
“To achieve a climate-neutral EU by 2050 and the intermediate target of an at least 55% net reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030…”

Malaysia awarded ard 900 MW LSS4 Solar Project in 2021 to 10 Companies , expected completion on 2023 .


This year on 7/8/2023 :

On Monday, the Energy Commission (EC) announced that a total 563.42MW under the CGPP were awarded to 22 solar power producers.


There is still a balance of 236.58MW quota to be awarded out of the 800 MW offered under CGPP, which received a total of 71 applications, according to the EC.


Most of the players secured about 30MW, while a few players secured a smaller capacity in the range of seven to 15MW. It is unclear when the remaining quota of 236.58MW will be awarded.

2. BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON ZC ENERGY

ZC Energy, is a company incorporated in Germany in 2023 and having its principal office at Hans-

RI is at 10 cent and warrants EX at 12 cent. With the whopping existing share base of 2.9m shares, do you think know how many more shares to be issued at the pathetic 10 cent? This appears to be a desperate move to lure existing shareholders to subscribe for the RI . The existing shareholders are not no longer fooled into this move.

On the other hand ,the issuance of ESOS at the ex price 45 cent to reward the employees is pathetic too given the current price of RM 0.205 which is far below the ex price mark. Hence , the employees would not exercise the option but to let it lapse.

Rights issue ( RI ) is sought by the cash-strapped Jaks to raise equity funding . Though the Shareholders can subscribe for the new shares at a discount with the rights issue, more shares are issued to the market particularly at the lower market price ( current market price of RM 0.20 if not lower ) causing the shareholdings to be severely diluted and the share price will be likely to go down as a result.

Insider benefited greatly from the RI and PP because insider can just reward themselves with 15% number of share issue (RI and PP so the lowest the price the greater number of share issue the better) as LTIP free grants.
