Today low activities can be translate into a short term traders who do not have a holding power selling the stock while institutions investors or long term investors still holding it. According yesterday volume, many buyers purchased from 0.82 to 0.87 yesterday, with a closing price of 0.82 today, it should be very safe right now.

pop8872: Based on the year 2012 & 2013, when the Q4 results released, the PE will be trading around 10.8. If the history repeats itself, the price will be trading around 0.90 by tomorrow...
The catalysts of TA may selling the stockbroking arm is still there, that why i said that RM1.00 target price is a bit conservative.

You are right mr pop8872. From my observation TA is very cheap because it has quite a big land bank near golden triangle area. If the is developed or sold, it will generate a handsome profit for TA.

Yes, not only landbank, but the hotels portfolio in Melbourne, Sydney, Kushan in China, Phuket, Singapore and Canada. It it important for TA as hotel management can generate stable income in future.

Not many people realised that TA's earnings are mainly contributed by its hotel operations (60%). TA is still categorised as a finance stock as historically they started out as a broking firm. Just imagine if TA re-categorised under Hotel, do u think there will be a re-rating soon?

Right now, TA is valued as if its a pure broking firm (a sunset industry). Just take a look at Shangri-la's valuation, in terms of PE and P/BV.
