Nothing unusual has happened. Boss not lending support. TA should be announcing its final dividend in another 5 to 6 weeks time. A 2.5 to 3 sen dividend should give the counter a big boost.

TA have policy to payout 40% f its net profit as dividend, according to TA EPS = 8.38sen, it upcoming dividend could be as high as 3.5sen

The very poor stock price of TA may be a reflection on the perception (poor) of the investment community of the TA board. The board is brankrupt of strategic projects to grow TA, at least that is the view of many stakeholders when there are "no news". Further, the long lapse between financial audit and the declaration of the proposed dividend may be the board's idea (strategy) to make use of the dividend as "interest free loan" for as long as possible. In many ways TA is a poor parent and is not able to create value for its component companies, a good example is TAGB stock price 31 sen par value 50 sen).

All outstanding ICPS holder does not convert his ICPS into ordinary shares by 3Oct2014 shall be mandatorily converted into the company's new ordinary shares. It is a 1 to 1 conversion.

TA has not traded above 90 sen for many, many years. I remember when the KLSE index was around 1200 points, TA was already being traded at well over RM 1. No reason for TA to stay at this level.
