"MIDF Research said Johor had to grow its economy by 8.9% per annum in 2022-2030 to achieve the targets under RSNJ2030, which included a real gross domestic product (GDP) of RM281.7bil and a GDP per capita of RM45,300, with a population size of 6.2 million, by 2030. As of 2022, the state’s GDP per capita was RM35,300, with a population size of 4.03 million"
With it's landbank of approximately 600 to 700 acres of around JB, it already bound to gain substantial capital value. Despite without dividend,it is worth your investment.
Best earning with good prospect as Johor is the best developing state amidst strong Singapore dollar. If can give 25% earning, share price can at least go up to RM3.00.
KSL boss should just spin off its property investment segment as REIT. Profits from property investment is at least RM100m. Savings from tax exemption of REIT can be up to RM30m. Ascribe a PER of 12x to its RM130m profit, market cap of the REIT can easily be RM1.56b, more than its current market cap. If boss does this corporate exercise, share price could easily double.
Board of director wont bother to payout dividend because the directors prefer to reward themselves through remuneration. In 2022, annual profit is 109m. 40m was paid to the directors for remuneration/salary. Come on, 40mil, dont sound crazy? You can check this in their annual report. So there is no reason for them to announce dividend payout to reward investor like us. but i was looking forwards in recent quarter because their profit break all time high. however, It is quite dissapointing that no dividend was announced. thats the reason i sold it after recent quarter result released. I bought in price was 90sen in August 2023, decide to sell it because it no longer fit my criteria to hold this stock, which is no dividend.
Beware of whatever KYY recommended, quite often it end up not as hoped. Is it his collaboration with the company to benefit them ? This company more toward benefit themselves rather than share with other shareholders.
