Genting Chairman/CEO Lim Kok Thay says the company will look at listing in the United States sooner rather than later.

Aside from RWLV, Genting’s US interests include Resorts World Catskills via Genting Malaysia’s stake in Empire Resorts, Resorts World Casino New York City and a plot of land in Miami where it hopes to develop an integrated resort should legislation one day pass in its favor.

【独家】原料短缺运费飙高 建材涨价建商恐亏大

（哥打峇鲁、劳勿30日讯）面对原料短缺及运输费高涨的种种因素，五金建材价格在疫情期间纷纷调涨，以致建筑商面对成本飙涨、资金短缺，甚至可能面对亏损的问题。


其中花铁价格涨幅最大，价格从每吨2800令吉涨至近4000令吉，另外，塑胶水管及蓄水箱料也将在下月起，调涨价格5%至10%。


大厂控制价格

吉兰丹五金机械建材商公会会长颜有志说，作为贸易公司，他们的货源都来自大厂。五金建材价格是涨是跌，都是厂商决定，他们也无法控制。


业者指出，随着国内经济复苏，钢铁需求也显著增加；然而，另一方面，由于过去因防疫的收紧措施，生产受到影响，供不应求；加上钢铁原料价格上涨，以致水涨船高。

“要把钢铁拉回合理价水平，恐怕还需要一段时间。”


让他们感到更为沉重的是，在过去两周，铁价进一步上涨了20% 至 30%。一根铁条的价格从250令吉涨到300至320令吉。

根据报道，有零售店主指相关价格不是固定的，预计还会继续飙升。

面对建材价格不断飙升，承包商却必须继续以旧价格商定的建设项目继续施工，十分无奈。

一名建筑承包商声称，钢材价格最近从每吨 2800 令吉大幅上涨至4000令吉，一般承包商只有两个选择，即推迟施工，或继续进行已经商定的项目而蒙受损失。

Nothing much to worry about ! According to my friend ,the production cost for Eastern Steel is far below this level, Eastern Steel still makes small profit even the present market price go down by another 23.8 % further, more ever, these steel manufacturers in China will also suffer loses when the present price drops another 25% above .Therefore ,it's believable that very unlikely China will press the market price to a level which will hurt their home heavy industry.

On the other hand, Hiaptek is doing very well with the business in Malaysia from now onwards !

Nothing to worry ! Let us wait for the coming sound financial result !

Friday , 12/11...Nov 3 , T+ 6 balance = 4.8 mil , ie meaning retailers picked up 10.5 mil share .. ( so far 31.2 + 21.1 + 10.5 ) .

Nov 5 , T + 5 = 13.2 mil

Nov 8, T + 4 = 10.0 mil

Nov 9, T + 3 = 8.7 mil

Nov 10, T + 2 = 12.5 mil ( a good sign )

But MoneyMakers punya Armada, historically tops at 0.555. Lower high, weak trend. Should come back down to at least 38.2% or around 40 sen where the support is. Good luck to him.
