Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) has extended by another year a contract awarded to Marine & General Bhd for the provision of two anchor handling tug supply vessels.

Marine & General — previously known as SILK Holdings Bhd — said the contract that was first awarded in January 2013, will now be extended from January to December 2018. The contract extension is estimated to be valued at RM33 million.

Marine & General: Clinches RM33m contract extension from Petronas. Petronas Carigali SB has awarded a one-year contract extension worth RM33m to Marine & General’s (M&G) subsidiary Jasa Merin (M) SB for the use of two anchor-handling tug supply vessels (AHTSVs). The marine logistics company (formerly Silk Holdings) said that the original five-year contracts, which began on Jan 1, 2013, would therefore continue from Jan 1, 2018, to Dec 31, 2018. During the primary term, the contracts in total are valued at about RM251.8m, based on M&G’s Jan 2013 announcement. (StarBiz)

Just collect current price....... next year..... will fly........ upstream charter fully utilized.... downstream only 50%..... but can improve.... plus..... got cash 200mil for investment/takeover.... disclaimer.... long term debt also quite huge.... :)

Judge from its cash flow, it wont go bankrupt. It still have healthy cash flow, the big losses was due to the impairment losses on its vessel.
