In all honesty, l've been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks like Gold, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large diversified cushion. I invest in the market, but never time the market.

Recently, noticed that the PohKong business is obviously better than usual. Maybe due to Hari Raya. Interesting to see that people like to buy gold during the price is high. Most probably scaring of the gold price will go even higher.

The obvious differences one can see.
The value of the stock -in-hand appreciated.
Short term loan increased by RM10 MiL only.

Next month(Apr) is Hari Raya and Hindu wedding season, with gold price spikes since Oct, you should expect bumper profit for Poh Kong Q3 ending April.

Another plus is 'luxury tax' for HGVT is temporary delayed due to bill not yet passed in Parliament, that is just delay and will form the pull factor to buy gold jewellery now instead of later.
