As soon as the new government was formed, Tun Mahathir said that all large contracts would be under review and almost all construction companies delayed their buying of building materials including steel. As a result, investors expect Lion Industries to report a lower profit in the 4th quarter which will be announced before the end of the month.

I also expect the price will fall when the company announces a lower profit. As you can see the price has gone up by 6 sen per share today. It means that buyers have already taken into consideration the anticipated bad news. Based on investment logic, I think the price will continue to go higher. I hope I am right. This is my opinion and I am not asking you to buy or sell.

I see a few critics are complaining that I have misled them to lose money and I also see many are happy to have sold and taken profit. Who is right? Koon Yew Yin

Masteel had dubious reporting standard a few years back, was questioned by auditors who refused to sign in their report. Since then I never trust this management

Another story , i never expect Masteel such result OUT , but i accept it , possible the changed atmosphere happen , immerse the profit , but is just temporary matter , time will return Masteel a fair justice in term business corporate handling , i confident the managerial will do well , after the changed atmosphere event , this all i talk is a journey , once gone , another task is going on , rotated take term , i even look challenge through new corporate image .

Masteel reported poor result. Even OTB suspected management reported fake result by hiding some profit to avoid tax payment. But for for me this is not a good way for doing business. Honest is the most important key. If management can cheating goverment, mean that it will be same treat to other share holder. So i dont care the future of Masteel is bright or not, but because of the management not honest, I already unload all my Masteel share this morning.
