need time to flush out contra player. share price can't up everyday de.. for long term is good. Steel price will go back to normal - RM1800/ton, currently RM1500/ton. Recently steel price was up from bottom RM1400/ton to RM1500/ton.

Hi guys, I am working in steel industry and the supply of steel bar is getting lower and lower due to many steel factories in China shuted down, local steel bar are expecting to raise the price to rm2000+-, currently the price is around rm1650, steel price have been raised rm200 in 1-2 weeks and this will continue in the following weeks, don miss the boat, masteel can easily make 10-20mil profit in 1 quarter with the hike in steel bar

进口减少扶持价格 中国钢铁业大裁员利大马

（吉隆坡5日讯）中国政府计划裁减煤矿与钢铁领域约180万名员工，致力控制产能过剩的举措，对大马钢铁业者是大好消息，一来中国廉价钢铁进口会减少，二来也可扶持疲弱多时的国际钢价。

根据路透社报道，中国政府日前宣布，为有效解决产能过剩问题，计划裁减180万名从事钢铁、煤矿业工人，其中，煤矿业占到130万人，钢铁业则有50万人。

此外，为了应对这波裁员潮，中国政府也已拨款1000亿人民币（636.94亿令吉），重新安置受到影响的工人。

中国早在1月初，就已经宣布新政策，进一步削减钢铁与煤矿的产量，包括：1）削减原钢产能高达1.5亿吨；2）大规模减少煤矿的产出。

中国政府管制供应，是为了减少国有公司产能过剩与员工过多的问题，包括了钢铁领域。

去年，中国生产的原钢产量，占了全球总产量的将近一半，达8亿400万吨。

不过，对于中国一连串控制产能的措施，大马投行分析员不以为然，因为在大肆压制钢铁领域的产能之际，也必须当心所将引发的失业与社会动荡问题。

减轻倾销问题

分析员认为，中国政府未来的任务仍然艰巨。

根据中国统计局，该国煤矿与钢铁领域的员工高达1200万人。因此，削减180万人相等于总员工人数的15%。

据悉，中国政府将会在本月提出更为清晰的政策，并决定下一步的举措。

至于大马方面，分析员认为，中国压制钢铁供应，可大幅激励我国的钢铁业者，因为过去3年，我国业者已经面对中国廉价钢铁进口的冲击。

在去年，我国从中国进口的长钢产品按年增长28%，导致本地长钢领域面对最严重的冲击。

因此，中国钢铁领域减产，除了能够直接缓和遭到倾销的本地市场，也可间接促进我国本地钢铁市场，因为国际钢价将可从低点反弹。

在等待中国政府公布更多详情之际，分析员维持钢铁领域“中和”的评级，以及安裕资源（ANNJOO，6556，主板工业产品股）“守住”的投资评级，目标价格为72仙。

企業專訪．大馬鋼鐵業 5年內衝上新高峰

鋼鐵業仍有機會向上成長，戴賢龍喻5年內將有新高峰。

　“我們不是每天守在工廠裡只看生產過程，我們也要看全球經濟，對鋼鐵原料、供需、價錢做出判斷。”
　馬鋼鐵（MASTEEL，5098，主要板工業）總執行長拿督斯里戴賢龍認為，國際歷史即將重演，國內鋼鐵業在5年內也將達到新高峰。

我國不斷推出基礎設施計劃推高鋼鐵用量，目前國內鋼鐵供應遠遠不足以應付龐大需求，大馬仍是鋼鐵淨進口國。

　“政府推出許多新的基建計劃，我們計算出來，這些計劃預計需106萬3000公噸鋼鐵。”

　戴賢龍接受《中國報》專訪時指出，該公司下游業務年產35萬公噸鋼條，已經開始擴充設備增加產量，預計明年底或2014年初，下游鋼鐵生產量可達到55萬公噸。

　“政府新計劃的鋼鐵需求是100萬公噸，我們只生產50萬公噸。”

供應不足應付需求

　戴賢龍說，國內鋼鐵供應遠遠不足以應付龐大的需求，我國現有的鋼鐵需求量已達到兩百多萬公噸，加上新計劃就不只是這個數字了。

　他強調，該公司下游生產的羅紋鋼也就是建築鋼，只要國家要做基礎建設，建築鋼的需求就會大大提升。

　“東協國家一直是鋼鐵淨進口國，本地鋼鐵用量很大。”

　馬鋼鐵目前出口30%鋼鐵至國外，大部分出口到印尼、緬甸和斯里蘭卡，因為這些國家都還在發展中，會有大量基礎建設計劃。

　該公司70%鋼鐵仍用在本地市場上，目前他們也已經標到新計劃下的一些捷運配套，這些計劃將運行5至7年，已經看見未來收入成長。

　“我們做這生意40年，就是穩穩定定在做，向前走這5年，我覺得馬來西亞鋼鐵業，尤其是建築公司是有得做的，會達到新的高峰。”

建築鋼最不受經濟影響

放眼全球經濟，戴賢龍指出，像歐洲和中國雖有國內經濟問題，導致鋼鐵需求量衰弱，因此拉下鋼鐵價格，但建築鋼所受影響相對較低。

　“鋼價下跌，原料價格也會降低，仍能保持盈利。”

　戴賢龍說，在眾多鋼鐵產品中，建築鋼是最不受市場經濟影響的，因為當一個國家想要振興國內經濟，就會大力發展基礎建設，建築鋼的需求量就會走高。

　“他們要刺激經濟，一定是採取基礎設施，我們（建築鋼）得到的利益最高，其他鋼鐵反應就比較慢。”

　根據行業內的40年豐厚經驗，戴賢龍說，國際情勢發展也會對鋼鐵業造成影響。

　他指出，日本80年代經濟強盛，但因為貨幣貶值導致國內成本走高，他們惟有向東南亞發展，最近又因為發生釣魚島事件，日本將再度聚焦東南亞。

　“日本在中國做很多投資，但因為釣魚島事件，他們已經宣佈要轉移回東南亞市場，現在是第2波。”

　戴賢龍還指出，我國1993年經濟起飛，就是因為大量外資流入。

　“很可惜有這樣的國際事件發生，但是中國成本也變高了，已經不再具有競爭力，日本也會重新調動資金。”

　“我們已經看過這個循環，這個現象就要發生了。”

花1億擴充下游生產線

馬鋼鐵花費1億令吉擴充下游生產線，預計最遲2014年初能夠增產20萬公噸至55萬公噸鋼條產量。

　“我們上游生產55萬公噸，但下游僅生產35萬噸，這么做是為了互相配合。”

　戴賢龍指出，一旦新生產線完成，料每年可為馬鋼鐵收入貢獻4億令吉。

　該公司去年營業額突破新高，取得12億令吉，進上半年已錄得6.8億令吉，料2012財年能持續有好表現。

　此外，馬鋼鐵也覷見其他商機，該公司與統一合作社（KUB）合資3億令吉投資柔佛州火車運輸系統。

　由于現行的火車路線並沒有任何停靠站，每天14班火車幾乎都是空車，戴賢龍說，他們這項計劃將建設21個站點和信號站，將吸引更多人流，完整利用國家設施。

　這項10億令吉工程合約已經進入最后階段，政府將給予7億令吉工程補助金，最早明年動工，打造大馬南部公共交通系統。

　這個火車目前往南的服務終站，是新加坡兀蘭（Woodlands），但將在2018年從兀蘭撤退到柔佛州，撘上這個計劃，大馬列車便能再次直通新加坡。

　“新加坡2018年也會完成共和理工學院（Republic Polytechnic）的捷運終站建設，到時候我們就可以從兀蘭連去捷運站，相當方便。”

　共和理工學院將是新加坡湯申地鐵線（Thomson Line）的最終站，跟兀蘭的步行距離為300公尺。

　馬鋼鐵目前在跟新加坡方洽談合資進化，已經有初步討論，將進一步商討合作內容。

Hi guys, this is not a purely goreng stock, it's like those export stock like hevea, vs, latitud, up 2-3x when usd up.. This share up because of steel bar price up, steel price is expected to up another few hundred ringgit in near term, believe or not up to u..

Among the steel bar counter, Masteel sure will have the higher turnaround, next quarter might only turn profit but the next next quarter will expected to earn 10-20mil easily with hike of steel price..

Let say it's just 10mil, it will have a eps of 5 per quarter and eps of 20 for a year

Pe of 10 = rm2 with nta rm2+

Don't u think this counter is the best counter with highest return and high nta?
