Result seem terrible, adding back all the depreciation cost (property and right use of asset) , the profit still not good...the fuel cost still high also. Special dividend doesn’t mean anything. Just a beautiful trick to prevent the share price free fall. If this qr profit were well maintained, and only announce special dividend then baru hoseh. If no announce special dividend, tomorrow sure drop based on this result. But now seem buffered. Must look at the core profit and judge on the performance.

Profit Before Tax was RM214 mil in 1Q2019, down 31% year-on-year (after excluding exceptional gain of RM885 mil in 1Q2018) due to the 64% higher maintenance & overhaul cost. Don't need to gaduh so much lah. Enjoy dividend lah when it's banked into our accounts.

But then it also proved a fact that some of us have been saying again and again. That guy is a great conman. So where's the best quarter ever? Using dividend to hide his lie is not cool at all.

That also shows that digital and logistics are still far away from being able to buffer for the other negatives.

Even after ex most probably the price will be above my average since I bought much cheaper back then. Gonna hold for the long run, and in the meanwhile buy and sell according to the market directions.

Remember they requesting for share buyback, if they spend around RM3/share to buy back 10% of share thats only about RM 1b ringgit.

One hint: watch out for payment processing companies in the region. Possible targets for M&A.

And the possibility of spinning off Red Best Ventures is quite high now. Need to raise money. That on top of the regional IPOs in the pipeline, starting with Philippines.

Yeah the very next steps should be to use IPOs to raise more cash. Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.

Billions and billions more from regional investors. And if AA lists Red Beat Ventures in NYSE or Nasdaq as previously planned, that gonna raise even more cash, as it will be AA's tech arm, which will carry the tech valuation, making it much more valuable than AA itself

While a lot of companies losing money in the 1st Q , yet AA still able to make profit and giving out dividends isn’t it something that we should be happy ? l thought all these while we have been waiting for the SD and hoping Tony will honoured his word and true enough he decided to give out the SD , so cheers guys.........time to sell of all my AA Call Warrant tommorow .........
