Nice to makan special dividend but after ex everyone gonna cry until no eye see. And really hard to climb back in the short term. If you plan to keep for 2-3 years then should be fine.

90 cents x 3.3 bil shares = 2.97 bil dividend payout
Latest financial result balance sheet total bank and cash = 2.9 bil

Wow, almost give all the cash to shareholder.

Downside, result not as good, and those lease airplanes come back to balance sheet due to new accounting rule on leasing.

If your profit exceeds what you will get from special dividend after the surge better sell. Take money and buy back after ex.

u think he so good want to enrich other shareholders? the special div is announced so that he can clear his bank debt ( he borrow money from bank and inject money by private placement into airasia )

this quarter AA only earn 2.9cent per share, looking forward , what do you it earning gonna be?

if you removed All the cash from the Company and give back to investors, the next option is to
Sell more airplanes(asset) or take more Debt----Shit, Big mouth now don't care about stock price
Just his personal Survival ( i think he can survive but most investors will lose their House after
they finished 90cents dividend)

Last qtr loss and dividend, talk bad. This qtr profit and dividend continue talk bad. Fyi total dividend for me 12+40+12+90 = 1.54
