Air Asia profit will continue to dilute . The plane leasing business model is having impact on profit . Leasing company is taking a chunk of A Asia profit . And it will continue . Just my opinion . If sell and lease back plane is a good model , all major airlines would have chosen this path. But it is not .

Lease is good for AA, for getting rid of expensive depreciation asset, but pay higher leasing cost. Back to square one.

Don't waste time on AA. i believe it is lacking of catalysts. They already sold and leaseback their aircrafts and distributed as dividends. Since they sold at profit but still in need of the planes for their operations, now they are paying high leasing costs which actually impacted their bottomline. And Digital Transformation would take long time before you can see the real result with chances of failure. It is becoming more risky holding AA with low return
