Betkakau...i m neither a fun manager nor a fund manager. i m merely a small investor whom had followed AA since its share price crash to 90sen when its plane crash in indon. Have invested in it since then havent looked back. I have my ups and down in AA but so far more ups than downs.

I am not the one who likes to bark whem price is up or down. I just couldnt help it recalling what TF said “ best ever year”:).

I see. Very little people understand the accounting statement here. If you know the impact of mfrs 16 and reanalyse the depreciation part and lease liabilities, you will know AA actually doing good.

No wonder you guys keep losing money in stock market. Please sell and stop making noise

Airasia will not limit down.Limit down is 30 percent.rm 1.80 to rm 1.26.minus 10 cent to 20 cent possible.

@Agjl. That time everyone barking sell but instead i bought tons at 90 cents. When the price drop lower, they all came out said, see told you very bad. I sold too early at 1.80 for 100% profit and the price keep going up till 4.00.

It’s time start to collect now when everyone barking sell...

MRFS16 doesnt affect the business fundamentals..... it affects how a business is presented to investors on paper.

A cash generating business is still a cash generating business.

While a lost making business will still be lost making regardless of MRFS2020 or MRFS9999.

U can have a look at LONBISC ... what happen ? Isnt the company showing good profits ?

After one off dividend, suffer every quarter by paying lease of hundreds milions. That's not MRFS16. That's real cash paid every quarter for the lease. Worst still what happens after the lease ends? Buy new aircrafts?

Digital business? You mean airasia can be a digital company without the real air transport business? that's the most capital intensive business

If I recalled correctly, the big boss said somewhere this year that it is a good year. Waw, luckily didn't get cheated. Few years back announcing the results of Tuneprotect did not highlight reducing profit for that Qtr, then traded around 1.40, now is touching 0.60. Luckily disposed immediately after results announcement then, safed 50%. Good luck everyone in search of potential counter for LT.

real truth:

Revenue increased sharply to RM3.14 billion from RM2.62 billion previously. Strong growth in revenue was driven by an 18 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in passengers carried to 12.8 million.

Revenue per available seat kilometre (RASK) grew by four per cent to 15.40 sen in Q2, driven by firm demand, with load factor remaining strong at 85 per cent despite a substantial 17 per cent increase in available seat kilometres (ASK).

Ancillary revenue also grew by 39 per cent y-o-y, recorded at RM687 million for the consolidated group, driven by both traditional airline ancillary and non-airline ancillary streams

EBITDA decreased only nine per cent y-o-y to RM473 million in the quarter under review, primarily due to share of prior years’ losses at AirAsia India that was previously not recognised amounting to RM147 million.

It was also due to the additional cost related to building up RedBeat Ventures entities, 105 per cent higher maintenance and overhaul expenses on the back of higher maintenance provisions of approximately RM160 million following a higher number of leased aircraft due to the recent aircraft monetisation exercise, and RM10 million fine from the competition watchdog.

Good, tell the owner of aircrafts, AA considered profits owned by AA only and profits of AA cannot be used to pay leasing cost, bcos shareholders said so.
Omg, can AA do that, in order to maintain a good massive AA profits???
