maxsuper. Do u know the Net Profit of AA before the pandemic?? 2016 - 1.619 billion, 2017 - 1.571 billion, 2018 - 1.695 billion this pandemic is just like a temporarily setback. Chance for retail investor to make money. If not sure, humbly ask in_sight. Don't simply bark ha ha ha
Air Asia is a quite a safe stock to bet for investors who are willing to wait. The most likely scenario in the future will be a turn around for the better rather than for the worse, Air travel especially for leisure will quickly recover any time soon. The only uncertainty is exactly when ! Just be a bit patient and you will be well rewarded. Look to the distant future not the past or even current situations.
TianChoi1 don’t bother maxsuper. He is a troll, look at his comments u will know all his comments only negative. Nothing positive can come out from his mindset.
Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas' Singapore Branch owned 3.15% and 1.84% stakes in AirAsia Group respectively, while JP Morgan held 0.23%, according to AirAsia Group.
AirAsia could give Gojek a boost in Thailand where the startup has lagged food delivery and ride-hailing competitors, said Nattabhorn Juengsanguansit, director at Thai business consultancy Asia Group Advisors
Gojek's Thai business, which includes ride-hailing, food delivery and payments, is its smallest overseas operation and has a far smaller share of that market than food delivery leader Grab.
Gojek's Thai business made a loss in 2019 and 2020, according to accounts provided with the deal announcement.
Lol, dickymee, hahaha, why you so. Stpd.... Airaisa buy it for Thailand Market ot population for its super apps in thialand and Thailand population is more than double than whole malaysia population, top 20 of the world population.. Start from Aug 2021, gojek apps will stop and will replaced by Airasia super apps.. Airsia can gain more other business and expand more business...not only food delivery..
Yeah no dilution it’s based on aa superapp company which is a subsidiary. the valuation of AA superapp itself based on the transaction that gojek willing is valued at usd 50 million for 4.76%. Go figure how much is the value of 100% of AA superapp. Is it more than AA current market cap itself? Go figure.
That pathetic dog also conveniently exclude reports from the same article as below:
Fernandes told reporters that BigPay was near closing a transaction while the group could be making announcements on its fundraising initiatives next week. He did not share details.
"AirAsia will be making some announcements, I hope, next week, regarding financing and ... the Danajamin loan is being processed as we speak," he said, referring to a government-guaranteed loan the airline has sought for months.
Why would gojek agree to such valuations? Gojek’s investors includes Google, Facebook, PayPal, Visa, and Tencent and Telkomsel. They have to answer to them for such valuation. They have the cash. They don’t need to sell even if it’s not making money. Why accept a mere 4.76% in exchange of usd50 million in not so proven AA superapp? Perhaps they have done their due diligence and see some of datas provided by AA superapp? Go figure.
