KUALA LUMPUR (July 7): AirAsia Group Bhd said its digital unit AirAsia Digital has acquired Gojek’s operations in Thailand, and that it plans to launch its super app in early August.

AirAsia Group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said the “win-win” all-share deal worth US$50 million sets both parties with a strong foundation to explore additional avenues for collaboration in ASEAN.

In a virtual press conference, Fernandes added that Gojek’s investment is valued at US$40 million while GoPay’s is at US$10 million, and these will be transferred into shares for the AirAsia Super App, which is valued at US$1 billion.

As such, more swab tests would be conducted on the residents of the affected areas thereby giving the high number of cases...

It's called targeted and non-targeted screening. Basically, mass non-targeted screening is going on in KL/Selangor area, hence the high numbers. Seems bad now, but good for the long run, as we can identify many of the unidentified silent carriers in our community

i tell u 1 thing, air asia only wants to ipo/spac theyre "dIGiTaL bUSinESS" in US because they have ran out of options in raising cash for the company without diluting the hell out of it. And spacs are the easiest way to get funds. In the world of tech now, alot of college kids develop digital apps for VCs just to bloat up valuation through spac deals. Air asia im afraid is just a BIG BIG BIG SELL at this point. TP 0.40 sens. No way in the world they are worth 3.4 billion now.
