allow me disagree, all export stock really much depend forex gain to earn much. the best to earn is 2H18 period due to USD to reach 4.3.

next year once msia fundamental clearly seen by investor and gdp sustain, USD will be lower so earning will drop.

i will trade this for 2 qtrs only.

USD not only depend on internal factors. Technically the USD index has failed to break the crucial 96 level in a handful of tries over the past few months. I would expect the 8th hike of rate in September will give green bucks a boost to break out from 96 level. Next year too far to predict the currency trend. Don't rate too high yet for the new government. Even if Malaysia economy doing well next year. The currency not necessarily back to 4.00. It very much depend on external factors and the 'willingness' of the new government especially Tun. You know, Tun is always unpredictable.

i dont analyze USD factors and im not forex analyst, the figure comes from local financial report, however as for me for forex is very simple, the more people buy currency, the stronger it would be. and people would buy currency of a country if country give better return (interest) and better environment (gov policy and economy rating).

Why 0.35? This is not goreng counter which can be back to starting point in 12 months time.
With strong demand of green bucks thanks to increasing tense of trade war, Malaysia wood based panel and furniture are the potential winners due to trade war between Us and China, the situation now is in favour of Evergreen. Next week no 0.60 no song.

If you like counter that drop to its starting point, you can check on Kanger. Goreng counter potential multibagger. I'm waiting its signal in mid of this month.

Wait for a while....the stock should go down below 0.5....If it goes down below 0.4...somewhere around 0.35...it is safe to buy.... Now it is still too early to say if US China trade war will benefit Evergreen.... From the Dividend and EPS trend, the company is cooling off from its peak.... Wait for next quarter result... we will see how the company is doing.... It is pretty speculative to forecast a company future performance based on a single volatile event, namely US China Trade war... No one can predict if the war will continue or outcome of the war if it continues or if the war will burn to other countries... What if tomorrow US declare tariff to other countries to protect its own furniture market... like what US did to Canada, Europe, China, etc for steel and aluminium tariff? Then, Evergreen stock price will collapse? Hence, it is safer to judge the price by looking at the fundamental of the company without taking into the consideration of the US, China trade war. It is pretty speculative....or "Goreng"...

Remember.... US not just impose tariff on China... US also impose tariff on many other countries inclusive Mexico, a developing country, to "return US glory".... When will US impose tariff on furniture? Ask Trumph... :-)
