Verbatim1969, I share similar view. Still retains UOA REIT, will buy some more in coming months when low price. UOA Reit consistently gives good dividend. Intend to give greater weightage to UOA Reit assets.
Novice investor here, can someone please explain or link something to me how a stock such as this can jump 0.13 in price with just 100 in volume traded?
Market makers/Traders are testing the market. Similarly, they'll be willing to throw 100 units at significant drop in price to test the market. It's their game, usually on behalf of client or on behalf of themselves.
Oh by the way, 100 units is the lowest/minimum amount of shares to be traded. So with a pool of 100k or 200k units, throwing away 100 units to test the market is not a big deal, and might worth the risk.
why is Amfirst Reit trading at substantial discount to book and this OA Reit is trading above book (which is 1.66)? understood Amfirst might have poorer located properties etc but still could not understand why is this reit trading above book?
During the quarter, a provision for deferred tax of RM19,776,000 was made in respect of Real Property Gain Tax ("RPGT") on the fair value of investment properties. However, the provision will not affect the realised income of the REIT. pg 7 of bursa announcement.
UOA REIT and UOA Dev are part of UOA Ltd. Actually quite a lot of UOA Ltd Investment Properties are actually in UOA Dev. So which of these 3 companies is the best to invest
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
