At this low price of 69 sen value has emerged as it's P/e is now only 7. Better than bumitama Agri of Singapore with p/e 8

Only thing now is a resumption of dividend payout from Thplant

KUALA LUMPUR: TH Plantations Bhd's (THP) special purpose vehicle, THP Suria Mekar Sdn Bhd (TSM), has completed the lodgement to the Securities Commission Malaysia to establish a proposed Islamic Medium Term Notes (IMTN) programme of up to RM1.08 billion in nominal value based on the Shariah principle of Wakalah Bi Al-Istithmar (Sukuk Wakalah programme).

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, THP said the programme will have a perpetual tenure.


Proceeds raised would be used to finance or refinance TSM's existing or future Islamic financing, including the outstanding sukuk issued under TSM's existing Sukuk Murabahah programme of up to RM1.2 billion in nominal value.

The filing said proceeds will also be used to finance THP group's Shariah-compliant business operations and working capital, as well as to defray expenses incurred to establish the Sukuk Wakalah programme.


For the avoidance of doubt, the Sukuk Wakalah proceeds can be advanced within THP, via Shariah-compliant facilities for Shariah-compliant purposes, the filing said.

Maybank Investment Bank Bhd is the principal adviser, lead arranger and lead manager for the Sukuk Wakalah programme.

The lock in low interest rate of Perpetual sukuk loan will be very good even if secular interest rate rise

Now Thplant can hold on to it's Rm700 million assets of estate lands in Sarawak

Pan Borneo highway will unlock it's full potential value

with cash flow taken care of by sukuk loan it is high time for Thplant to give out a dividend

If Bplant can go borrow Rm45 million from China and yet gave 4 dividend plus a special dividend last year and one nice 7.3 sen dividend this year (with over Rm1 billion debt) surely Thplant can also give out a dividend

So please go register with Thplant for Agm on 23 June

Management of Thplant said if Cpo prices are good Thplant might resume dividend payout again

last time Thplant cost of Cpo production was Rm1465

now factoring in fertilizer cost plus increased labour cost it might be Rm2200 or more

As long as Cpo is above Rm3000 Thplant can be profitable

Some facts about Thplant

Jan to March 2022 total Ffb 129,000 tonnes

April & May alone 97,000 tonnes or about 75% of 1st qtr

that means 3/4 already and only Month of June figures now waiting

April & May Cpo ranged from Rm6200 to Rm7400 and about Rm6500 average

That means that Aug 2022 results should excel
